I think the reason why it hasn't been locked is because it really IS about DA:O. It's inevitable that you get some strays off topic, but those happen in almost all threads. If topics were locked due to off topic, you'd likely have almost no topics left.



In the Off topic forum, alot of my own topics have been locked for pretty rediculous reasons...one of them is spam, when there's a "three word story(PART 2)" and "Last one to post wins!" ...what's more spam? A discussion about spam in an off topic forum, or the two above?



I say if people wanna discuss religion, let them...I'm an atheist myself so I dont give a damn XD



But if the discussions turn into arguements? Then I'd say do as you do with all other arguement topics, close it.

I had a thread that spanned 200 posts or so about Religion and its effect on your playstyle..but it never got off kiltered like this topic did... :\\ It's sorta inevitable..oh well...

I wouldn't say lock it... maybe move it to Off-topic or threaten to lock it if it doesn't get back on track with the game, but don't lock it due to argument.



There's nothing wrong with a healthy argument, you gotta get other views into your head at some point to at least consider, you know?

Yeah but alot of modders don't agree with that. Just take a look at my locked topics...
