Infiltrator, as well, or soldier. Never been much for biotics.
What class will you import to ME3 first?

Adept, then Vanguard.

My main Vanguard of course. He was one in ME1, is in ME2 (love charge), and sure as hell is gonna shotgun some faces off in ME3. I just pray they keep charge and add some nice evolutions for it.

Solider simple as my favourite class by far and I feel it suits shepherd the most in my opinion

I only have the Adept class I beat the game with to import to ME3. I might go back and play as a different class, but I really didn't like the other classes in ME2.

I hope they'll include some function that would allow you to choose your class at the start of ME3 regardless of what you were in ME2 (as ME2 lets you choose despite your ME1 import).

they probably will. lots of people i know have one save from ME1 they just always use for imports in ME2.RGFrog wrote...

I'm one of those if only just to get the Renegade/Paragon bonuses, although I did make another ME run recently with exactly the opposite decisions.Clonedzero wrote...

I can't see any justification why they shouldn't let you choose the class at the start, and surely they can make some reasoning behind it (corrupted file if all else fails).

My canon shep is an adept, which I usually play as, and I will play him first... but I do hope there is more customisation of the classes or, better still, custom classes. In which case I might change (assuming there is the option).. I want to have a CQC adept, but I'm not sure how close that is to happening

Soldier since it's the default class - that way I won't have to commit to a particular strategy before seeing what they changed in ME3.

From the look of things Vanguard. Adept meant to be cannon. But Vanguard has the iconic face that I can't seem to not forget. Oh well gonna have to do the comic way and post out a alternate timeline using the face. Or keep on trying to make a better face. T_T

I tend to save best/favorite for last and least favorite first.
Soldier gets to eat first. He's my boyscout and then my Sentinel goes last.

My canon soldier Shepard. The soldier just feels...right for Shepard in my opinion.

Engineer.

I'll import my "canon" soldier && engineer. The other classes are there to just flesh out the other possible classes.

Engineer. I like being the support character (tactical/team player).
Also, my shepard looks like an engineer (young-ish, not renegade, smart)

Vanguard
Both games I always played Vanguard. If I ever played another class it was for the achievements in the first game. Also, I saw a video with someone using Sentinel for Insanity in ME2 and thought the Tech Armor was cool so I decided to check it out while playing a Male Shepard; just for the sake of getting the romance achievement, and so I can see what Tali's face looks like. So, I still am only playing another class to get an achievement, guess my first sentence still stands.
Vanguard is the only class for me.
But with Charge, they made the Vanguard even cooler. And the only way I see to make it even more cooler is the addition of swords, or more specifically Katana.

My first will be a soldier, primarily for roleplay reasons (I prefer to have my Shepard as a Badass Normal)
After that is when I'll import my faves: Engineer, Sentinel and Adept.

Vanguard. Shepard not being a Vanguard is borderline heresy.
Unless Shepard is an Adept, which is my second choice.
