I'm just going to throw all my questions on this post as I am sure I will be asking many.  Some of these questions I will ask more than likely will be found on the search, but I have no clue what terms I should look for as this has been the first toolset I have ever used.

A couple of questions I have asked before to have it all in one location...

Q:  Failed to find lightmap-atlas info for model...
A:  The failed to find lightmap-atlas is mostly meaningless, it just means there wasn't a lightmap for an object before.

Q: How do you create a ceiling? I've added the model for it, but I can't slide it around or find it at all.
A: The ceiling isn't visible because it only has textures on the bottom, if you view it from above it is invisible.

For my next question... I am making an interior and I am having problems to... sort of lock the models together?  It seems that the wall corner is on a completely different grid from wall door and I am having the same problem for ceiling and wall basic.  What am I missing?

Snap options. This really confused me at first too, and it took me over an hour to figure it out, and the main thing that you need to know is snap options. It's the little magnet icon in the toolbars, and it's the most important thing to use.

Essentially this button controls the 'grid'. You can set the button so that it won't move as far with each jump, or you can turn off snap completely. Also you can change it so that rotation is more free with various angles. Eventually you'll end up doing alot of these actions, so it's good to know where it is.

By default I have my snap options at 1.000 for snap to grid and .250 for Snap Z Size independant. This allows for much more exact placement, though you'll want to turn off snap entirely when placing things like barrels, beds, chairs, tables, etc.
