 Hey all,

I'm a beginner play, and I initially put points into sword and board (for both RP and gameplay reasons), but now I want to spend the rest of the game by putting them into the 2H trees. I have already put a single point into Might Blow now.

Is this viable at level 6? Or will my 2H fighter always be gimped by the 'wasted' talent points put into the shield trees?

For those suggesting the respec mod, I would rather not use it, because I still want to keep my sword+board points if I can, and I also don't know if the respec mod works on Macs (when I check it out, I saw you had to run an .exe)

There's not really a point in having talents in two different melee trees. Hell, some people would probably say putting talents into archery as a secondary weapon sit isn't worthwhile either.

I realize it's optimal to only spec into sword+board, or into 2H, but would I be terribly gimped if I spent my remaining points in the 2H trees, after spending the initial 7 (?) into Weapon and Shield?

You're early enough that you can probably put enough into 2-hand to balance it out.
