There is only reason why DA2 is selling very poorly. It's because a malehawke is on the cover! :wizard:

This confuses gamers and they think they have to be forced to play this beard man.:innocent:

I think that's the only reason it wasn't a total disaster. The beard entices people almost as much as candy entices children into the back of windowless vans.

Perhaps they would have done better with FemHawke. *chuckles*

There is a reason, but you'd have to actually read it first to understand, which you clearly did not.

Okey, reason is to fill the board same topics threads?

Here is other thread about sales also in few post lower?

If you mean he ask reason for it? I don't think so.

I see you still haven't read the OP.

Hint: this thread isn't really about sales. It's a facetious bit of FemHawke appreciation.

Of course I have. Point is, he doesn't even be serious as asking why?

He just spam the topic, that's trolling. Read the first post. Meaning he/she is making jokes and using it as way mocking. Other ways the topics headline would be different. Example " Why games covers allways have male person?"

Of course they are, but then create example thread with headline "Jokes about DA2"

It might be a humorous thread, but I think, seriously spoken, that the habit of ALL gaming companies is to prominently feature the male protagonist. In trailers, ads, and on their covers is out-dated. I'd love to see a company going against the tide and feature the female one instead.

I'd be very pleasantly surprised. And yes, I think LadyHawke rocks. ManHawke? Meh. ;)

No.DA2 is selling poorly because of bad word-of-mouth.

Of course, it encourages some "really" serious people to think this game is misogynyst *chuckles*

As for the cover:

Default Beard Hawke =/= Canon Hawke or Your Hawke
Having a blood dragon on the cover would be enough for both sides to be satisfied.

This. Why couldn't the ME games have a random Geth on the cover, or something.

As I've said before, DA2 is being sold for five dollars near where I live, and that's due to so many of the copies of DA2 are being returned, becoming pre-owned. Yep.

Here is the post the OP is referring to: link

The OP is not trying to bash DA2 (calm down, people). He's making a reference to a quote by the Community Manager that inferred that having a female protagonist on the cover of a game lowered sales.

Clearly, having Miranda on the cover didn't hinder ME2 sales...

But yes, that is simply a tongue-in-cheek OP. :P

'Cause of the bugs right? I held off on recommending it to anyone until we got a patch, I've recommended it to a few friends now and they love it. The whole bugs thing really hurt sales here, yet strangely it didn't seem to affect ME2's sales? Heck, they didn't even try fixing ME2's bugs.
