Hello. So I've been getting this error "Awc load failed" whenever I push play. This only started happening after I uninstalled ME2 from the control panel, and re downloaded it from the EA Download manager. I uninstalled and reinstalled because ME2 would constantly crash with "not responding" error.
I found another post here http://social.biowar.../index/778021/1 but my situation is a bit different.
Unfortunately uninstalling is not an option, It does not show up in the control panel anymore, and eadm just sends you there when you try to uninstall. The uninstall option on the main menu, is cracked looking and does not function.
I have also gone into the directory and tried to launch the uninstaller there, but it fails to respond or even try to load.
A quick search of the registry shows the game is not installed.
I have also manually deleted all files for ME2, including the ones in My documents, and redownload/installed again, to no avail.
*Update* Am now able to play the game, all other issues with uninstall options still persists.

I ran the EAAccessInstaller.exe from cmd that Micheal posted and this is allowing me to play. Going to install the DLC and test. If I can at least play I don't mind not being able to uninstall for now.
*Update 2* I am able to play, but cannot install any DLC. When I try to install the DLC it says the game is not installed. This isn't suprising considering it doesnt think it's installed in control panel or registry. Would like some help with this.
*Update 3* Seeing as there has been no response to this thread, I will be performing a complete OS reinstall
