I have no idea what Anders was like in the expansion but from DA2 i hope Bioware doesn't create another character like him ever again. I don't like to be bored.

Anders was more about hating the Templars but he didn't look like someone who thought there was some big consipracy going on. He was also more sarcastic and funny now he is just some emo blood mage who takes everything so anal

What Justice has done is to amplify his dislike of the circle - and he clearly disliked it- and burned out his humor - most zealots have no sense of humor. I thought that who has was in DA2 based on what he was in DA2 made perfect sense.

The DA2 Anders is a much more inetresting character than DA1 Anders. Compartively speaking, A Anders is just a silly 'cute mage'm with a silly cat with very little depth and no reason for being. Thank god, Anders actually showed some character growth.

However! I'm starting to wonder if my Hawke's going to get all gooey eyed over Anders after all, when I replay after the patch I'm waiting for comes out. Merrill is so damn cute though.

If you play Awakening all the seeds to the Anders in DA2 is indeed there. You just have to look very carefully. Justice merging with Anders helps the actions performed by Anders in DA2 along, I find.

I don't know Anders other than the DA 2 one. No disrespect intended to the writer, but he is a boring, one-dimensional, textbook (DSM IV) case of dissociative disorder.
Although I'm sure he could've been far more developed, had hiscreation creator for DA 2 been given more time.

Actually it was Justice that seemed to have the aggression issues not Anders in DA:A. Anders was more than content just running from his issues most of the time.

Anders died in Awakening, so did Zevran, and Leliana is off adventuring with the Warden. This game never happened.Fufu12 wrote...
