Death Cloud bugged.

I discovered that the upgrade to the spell (that nobody takes, so nobody saw) is bugged. It should give paralysis to sleeping targets but it doesn't.

Now, in vanilla you don't see this since the chance of sleeping is only 10% (so even when it should hit you don't really notice), but if you increase the sleep chance (as I've done in my mod) then targets don't become paralyzed and this is a BAD thing because the damage applied by the upgrade awake them, immediately.

Morover the effects on targets last only a cycle (i.e. 4 seconds) while the cloud lingers for the duration. So, only the movement speed is altered after 4 seconds, the rest of the effects ends and are not restored.

Well, anyway, just mentioning, I already changed the spell to not be bugged and actually do something ;-).

that spell has fallen so far from grace, its dismal how utterly pathetic it is

cast time is near 5 seconds and it doesnt last or do anything of value

that entire school needs reworked, whoever decided to go in that direction clearly never tested it.

Well, if you want to take a look at my mod I resolved many of those problems for the Entropy line (included casting time for Entropic/Death Cloud):

EDIT. Ops, forgot you play on PS3, sorry. Anyway, let's hope Bioware will restructure a bit Entropy (especially Sleep and Entropic Cloud, may I suggest them to look at my mod? :-))

Well, that would be good. I also miss a lot death spells, as Finger of Death or Wail of the Banshee. The mechanic of death spells + CCs were what made mages so different to play in confrong to other classes.
