The squeaky wheel get's the grease again. I am not surprized. I am not impressed by the inconsistent moderation of the forums. Obviously there is too much to moderate for any consistency, so only if somebody complains (PM's a moderator or reports it) does it get any attention. What a wonderful way for somebody to destroy another forum member just because they don't like what the person has to say. I'm getting a bit tired of having a thread I am interested in getting shut down because a select few people ruin it for the rest. There is nothing like coming on the forums to see a stampede of threads closed; it's not a positive atmosphere in any form or manner.

That's okay, the pain of having to censor you for violating the site rules is no longer my concern. It actually wasn't my concern before either, but you seem rather convinced of it, so who am I to shatter your reality?

just stating a fact pacifen. i maybe encountered woo 3 times regarding threads as long as i been here. every other mod basicly let me speak my mind. just explaining the diffrences between who has done what. and i would like to mention that taking a job to serious can be a bad image wich i think everyone can indeed agree to an extent

Pacifien is actually quite lenient, trust me. Woo Just does patrol as much as he used to or he would have locked your threads a lot faster than Pacifien did.

Have to agree. From my experience, I don't remember Pacifien being overly zealous. Just trying to keep these forums a nice place. Quite a difficult job at times, I think x

I think the only way I'd ever agree to be a mod (sans cash) is if they let me use the forum handle GLaDoS. That would completely rock.

The sense of entitlement from some quarters strikes me as a little excessive. Although it's easy to lash out at a moderator who's been trying to maintain a reasonable air of civility, perhaps a better question would be to consider why someone has to do it in the first place.

I've seen some forums where the moderating is arguably draconian. IMHO this isn't one of them.

Banned twice, for homophobic comments and polls. How you keep fanegaling your way back onto these forums is a mystery. Who did you pay off, and what was the cost?

heck when i would go to pacifen to discuss this like an adult she would  say pm evil chris. if people who are mods cant actually hold a adult convo with there posters and say pm someone else  than imo they shouldnt be mods. and i wanna point out im not trying to get a flame war going but this really is an issue we all have to take care of.

I was only banned once but to this day I have no idea why nor who banned me( contacted both Woo and javierabegazo, none had any idea).

And that was LONG time ago.

I mean then smudboy still wasn't banned and Ecael was active.

define your term of insane. all i ever posted was one atheist thread a couple mk and green lantern threads and one we are at war with libya thread . whats insane about that? is it insane to mention anything regarding real life events wich in fact affect everyone? if my libya thread was such a political debate than ok why wasnt the japan crisis? anything and everything can be turned political.
