Here are the new sales numbers for DA2:

PS3 http://gamrreview.vg.../dragon-age-ii/
360 http://gamrreview.vg.../dragon-age-ii/
PC http://gamrreview.vg.../dragon-age-ii/

The only reason I can see these numbers staying the same from week 5 for this garbage game is the recent price drops. People who were not sure to pay 60,50,40,30$ can now pay 10$ (on the PC anyways) and "try" it out.

Hurry to trade it in at your local game store before your trade-in value drops to nothing!

EDITED:

Hey Laidlaw, here are the numbers for CoD week 10:

http://gamrreview.vg...duty-black-ops/

Which fans are you going to try to get next time...try the Pokemon fans. Our little voiced warden will capture darkspawn within his sword and release them later on to fight for him!! Sounds awesome, you should do it.

Pathetic.

Just curious, what exactly are you hoping to gain by posting these charts every week? Internet fame?

At a guess shame/humilate the producer so that they make Dragon Age Origins 3 and totally abandon the streamlining that produced DA2

Though i do fall into the "trying it out" catagory now its 9.99 in the UK, hell for the price of a two person McDonalds as long as it doesnt set fire to my PC i'll be satisfied

I would have thought this person was hoping to let others know how the game is selling.

I for one remain interested in this.
EDIT: Though it'd be better if this weren't laid out in such a snarky manner. Let the numbers speak for themselves.

I can't believe COD sold almost 6 million in it's first week world wide. That's insane.

I'll spare some time for the fanbots:

VG chartz are unreliable and evil and being raided by 4chan and biased.

Bioware headquarters.

Unless they release some, all of this is guess work at best.

Steam Stats

Current Peak Today

957 1,163 Dragon Age II
11,113 11,713 Total War SHOGUN 2
3,471 4,046 Fallout New Vegas

Just a little comparison about how many people are playing what games on a daily basis, not sales related but you can do the math for yourself. These are as of right now TODAY only numbers.

So if there were 12 million "at least", I would assume a higher number, though I would have to wait til the end of the day today to see where the "peak" number is at to get a better idea of how many people are playing this game on a daily basis on Steam

These sales are pretty paltry, even as estimates. If they were off 100%(which I can't see) it wouldn't have sold 100k copies across all three platforms.

They went after a group of gamers and failed to get them, and lost a piece of the group they had. That's why making hybrid types are dangerous. Just make a full blown, robust RPG, or go all in and make a full blown action/adventure if that's the crowd you're trying to get.

It did? Care to provide some evidence of such a claim? (Not being snarky, I'd really like to see those official numbers for DAO being ten times higher)

Judging by the VGchartz of Origins vs DA2 in week 6, it is true that it shows that DA:O was selling around the 50-60k mark, DA2 is showing around 6-9k, maybe not exactly 10x but who really knows anyway.

Lol @ 12 million Steam sales. I doubt the total PC sales are any higher than those on the 360.

So where are people getting these numbers if BioWare hasn't released them officially?
Internet, you confuse me!

Actually according to the same company in week 6.

Origins sold 121k on Xbox compared to 20k for DA2
Origins sold 64k on PS3 compared to 18k for DA2

That's why I say even as estimates, these sales are pretty bad in comparison.

http://gamrreview.vg...n-age-origins/#
http://gamrreview.vg...on-age-origins/

Here are Origins first 10 weeks on the consoles.  Origins actually sold more copies in week 8 than it sold in week 2.

Estimates based on checking retailers' charts and numbers etc. Highly inaccurate at times.
