No it doesn't, really. Okay, I concede that asari might have a different outlook on sexuality than humans but matriarchs are meant to be leaders. They're meant to be wise advisors for the rest of their people. It just doesn't fit that image.
You're comparing the portrayal of men and women in gaming? Really? I'd like you to elaborate on that, if you wouldn't mind.

I can think of some examples where men are portrayed poorly but I can also think of a
lot of examples where men are portrayed as the heroic, strong, independent type. Most games, in fact. I can't really see what there is to complain about there unless you're concerned that sensitive men aren't being incorporated into gaming.
