I just realized how nice the texturing is on the cloth-mesh between the armor plates. Really nice subtle details there. I can't wait to see some of the other updated looks.

The addition of chrome in his armor really gives him a classic yet new look.

I'm feeling a return of those ME1 vibes.

Tho' the Garrus vid does not say it directly....the ocassional mentions of difficuly of introducing female versions of alien races in this vid, for me, make a sad indication, that chance for female Turians ect. in ME3 are slim......but still possible.

Well, to me it suggests that female Turians are on his mind, enough for him to mention them in the video. If my job were to come up with certain concepts, I would probably start talking about how difficult it was to come up with those concepts if I were interviewed.

The fact that he's talking about Tali's face is a very good sign as well. At least they're thinking about it, and therefore it's much less likely to be straight-up ignored.

The non-mention of female Krogan has me more worried, but then again that wasn't really the point of the interview.

That the Art Director himself can't even adress this problem/wish with a straight face is quite alarming in my opinion.

I honestly don't understand why this is a big deal.

I think hes looking awesome! Keep up the great work! I like to see them keeping around and further developing the characters that people really enjoy in the games. I like how in the video hes using the terms iconic like they really understand how important characters are in their games (da2 not-withstanding, sorry, had to throw that in there). And yes, i know they are different teams, but still Bioware.

I also like how he says "Whenever you do Garrus in the future, ...".

More reach and calibrations past me3? Yes please.

That was a fun interview.

I never really thought of turians as bird-like but I can see the resemblance now that he mentioned it. I guess that just proves that the design worked as a unique alien race.
