the orange/black and the Red/Black was cool but Blue/Black over silver just screems awesome imo

Funny enough this is also the foundation of Garrus new armor..i wonder if the color scheme is a indication of some sort of uniform for the Shepard faction?

Like the new color scheme and having the Alliance logo on the ship. It's like shoving your middle finger right in TIMs face.

I don't like this paint job.

Isn't the SSV Normandy (in this case SR-2 or SR2.5 or 3 or whatever) supposed to be a stealth frigate? Shouldn't there be some sort of space camouflage or something, because in my opinion the bright white and blue highlights makes it shine brightly in the blackness of space.

I hope this is a placeholder.

Considering how big space is, I don't think the white is a problem. Plus, the Normandy's stealth has always been in heat reduction.

I can't play until late December anyway... I might have to bring my xbox to college with me, if this is the case. I am not sure if I can possibly stay spoiler-free for two months.

"Space Camouflage"? You got to be kidding me. There is absolutely no reason to have any kind of camouflage in space. Remember! It's in SPACE! Engagments happnen thoulsands of kilometers away from eachother.

Think of Space Combat in ME like modern air to air combat today. We don't actually see our targets. When we want to blow up another aircraft, we simply see a little enemy blip on the screen, confirm the target, then press a button to blow that mother ****er out of the sky.

What I'm trying to say is we don't paint our aircraft the color of the sky because we almost never see our targets with our own eyes, the same especially goes for the Normandy, because the Normandy is built for recon and scouting, not directly engaging targets.

God I hope that colour scheme is something they just made up because it's seriously ****ing Ugly.

The SR1 was Alliance and it had a much more bad ass ( as opposed to just bad ) paintjob.

Ditch the logo, change the white to a mid tone grey and blue to red - and it might look ok.

I was really hoping we wouldn't be part of a faction for ME3 - unless it was something different like Shadowbroker or Spectre. Something that represents Shepards independance from strict rulesets.

I am honestly not getting all this hate for the new color scheme. Everyone hated the Cerberus color scheme in ME2. Now everyone is freaking out over the Alliance paint job. WTF?

I don't think it was the colour scheme that people had issues with in ME2, but rather that a covert terrorist organisation had plastered its logo all over it's stealthy covert top of the line flag ship.

For me, the SR1 colour scheme was the best so far.

As for freaking out over the new scheme ( if it is the new scheme and not made up for the model. ) Is that it's so jarring and really ****ing ugly.

They don't say that the game get released at 26. oct, but that the replica is available by late october. That said, the paintjob is pretty awesome. Slightly worse that SR1, but far better that SR2 in ME2

Looks okay to me, but then I like the color blue.

So we are pretty much working for the Alliance again I take it? Heh I knew it. They have to (Bioware) market their stuff under the pretense of some group. So they'll use the Alliance just like they did with Cerberus. Bet you'll get emails from the Alliance about new uber heavy weapons they developed, that you should like use and stuff. Maybe even buy some DLC...

Heck we'll probably have an Alliance News Network.

I like that, it's sleek.

Reminds me of the Blue Suns, or Garrus, or both.

Don't forget, the Normandy's stealth system conceals heat, if you were to look out a window it would be there bright as day.  The first one was a majority black and silver, the second mostly black with a little orange and silver, those were more concealed than bright white and sky blue.

Frigates are made for stealth and reconaissance, it wouldn't make sense for something that stealthy to shine out in the blackness of space.
