This is bugging the crap out of me.

Anders currently will not do anything but auto attack. He has his tactics on and is in cautious, though I also switched to ranged to test it in that. Both modes make no difference. He has panacea on yet should still be able to cast healing spells. I have him set to cast heal on anyone below 25% health and he just won't he'll instead persist to auto attack. When 3 group members are below 50% he should also cast Aid but will not do that. I've not been able to see if he has casted Regroup yet as no one has died.

Anyone else encounted this and been able to fix it?

Ok while carefully watching everything he does in fights. I also just saw him trying to cast regroup when there's no one dead. The tactic says for him to only cast it on a dead ally... WTF? I was wondering why I keep seeing that on cooldown. What the hell is going on with this guy? I'm just going to get rid of him I think. He annoys the crap out of me anyway, only put up with him for the healing.

list your tactics exactly and I will find the issue for you.

Change it to Aggressive. That should work.

actually sounds like an issue caused by having a tactic with  "use: item"

ranged behavior is only affected by hold status
