I figure they must eat lichens and moss in the deep roads, but if her nug can survive on the surface.... I suppose they can eat surface lichens, too, but is anything specific mentione when you get Leliana's nug?

If it's a scavenger beast, I expect it'll eat anything that doesn't move to fast. And given where it lives, I kinda expect it's got to be able to eat just about anything organic to survive.

It's kind of an underground rabbit, isn't it? Do you think it's an omnivore? I was thinking herbivore. On the other hand, it's supposed to taste pretty...unique. That does argue for a varied and potentially unpleasant diet....

Eeeee.... I don't think I want to go there without somekind of game/book reference to it. I can see them eating people, any animal that eats meat would. If they ate darkspawn, I'm not sure the swarves would eat them without some pretty bad effects.
