Ah yes, "sarcasm". We have dismissed that claim.

Sadly people are starting to use sarcasm in this thread, it's not good since at the heart lies a serious idea on how to further improve the game.

That said in general I think more enemies, more fire, more glowing eyes, spikes, glowing weapons, larger weapons, larger armours, especially larger pauldrons - perhaps jumping, and potentiall double jumps, better and more fabulous special attacks would be warranted as to really push it home and make a great game as DA2 is close, but not really there yet.

Dinosaurs. Fighting dinosaurs would be awesome.

And let's pay attention to the guy who suggested a jump button. You could jump on top of the dinosaur and use it to fight, like a mount!

That is not what this games needs, not in the least. The combat in DA2 should be toned down a bit.
If we are really discussing ideas on how to improve the game then we must start where DA2 has succeeded and failed, the charters. Varric is an unquestionable success as a deep and complex character but others like Isabella and Fenris fail in comparison. The opportunity to improve those characters is as plain as day, more chest hair. Izzy's outfit is a perfect showcase for breast hair and the name Fenris basically means wolf so he should have chest hair all over his body.

Yes it would be tragic indeed since it would cast such a bad light on such a serious issue - since adding more of everything that made DA2 so great, and finally making BioWare see that they don't need to hide away their red glowing eyes in marketing and trailers, and that simply more is more could really lunge DA3 into greatness.

So we really need no blackguards to ridicule or denounce DA2 and the good parts of it with abusive language jests to the ribs, for what DA3 needs to be is a force majeure, and not a dwindling social drama.

Dinosaurs kind of worked in DnD games like NWN2: Storm of Zehir, so maybe, but no lasers, but maybe they could be sentient and magical Dinosaurs that can weild fireballs and touch based magical attacks.

Could work I guess, but we need to be careful not to push it too far.

Spot on, friend. I say, if you're going to make something awesome, really embrace it. Having Hawke walk around with glowing red eyes at all times would have been great. The Templars would ask "Hey Hawke! Have you seen any illegal mages skulking around? I only ask since you have that amazing, completely non magical eye sight." Hawke could then just give them and awesome look and maybe you could see his / her muscles flex as an answer.

Well you could have more, or rather cutscenes, but I'd think it would be boring without complex QTEs, but sure more cutscenes with QTEs, sounds good.

I'd rather they just be wingless dragon mutants than.. dinosaurs. In Thedas, anyway.

I guess it could work though, in the "Dragon Age." To have different variants arise.

I think that a double hump feature might work well...or just one large jump with acrobatic options midair!

Mutant dragons works too, they already are intelligent in most dragon lore, so the whole casting spells part (instead of lasers) kind or works too.

Don't know who originally came up with this, but it seemed appropriate.

The problem is that it wouldn't really fit into a fantasy setting like DA2, and we are trying to come up with serious suggestions here.

But some sort of magical/steam-punkish version could be decent, but we don't want this thread to be taken for a joke.
