awesome!!!

The problem is that it wouldn't really fit into a fantasy setting like DA2, and we are trying to come up with serious suggestions here.

But some sort of magical/steam-punkish version could be decent, but we don't want this thread to be taken for a joke.

This would be horrific funny, if it was clear that you was being sarcastic. Unfortunately I get that you're not.Posted Image

P,S, I'm slow. I now realize that you are sarcastic. Still, it's not so funny to me. Someone could take it seriously. Posted Image

That's right this is serious, not some jest or rib at DA2; I'm no blackguard, but maybe you could argue me to stultify, but I do see that instant gratification is the future and constant stimulation what we want ~ there are few things so high and mighty as when you manage to pump your experience to the limit of our desires by constant repetitions of glorious, fabulous, moments; clearly DA2 showed this and they could bull through DA3 to be even more, then truly they could build an euphoric amenomania of constant gratification.

I for one would welcome hours upon hours of climactic emotional highs as the blood flourishes and sprouts in fountains from our black clad iron spiked and red eyed enemies of enormous heights and stature, and don't forget the large and glowing blades, they are important too.

EDIT: www.youtube.com/watch << The soundtrack

& I really like High on Fire ~

As long as the dwarven women are buxom and well oiled, after all they need to really love/work that machine.

Just add more oil and gold.

That is quite heavy piece there. Im more into old psyhodelic rock tones like this one :

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Original Music Video 1968 part 1
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Original Music Video 1968 part 2

It quite long (18 min) so it is divided into 2 parts on you tube

My advice : dont SMOKE anything before/while watching it - can end up badly Posted Image

...And we could have races in those tanks. Wildly charging across the landscape while shooting at flying dragons or steam driven aircraft. Doing 1500 feet ski-jumps across chasms. ...And we could have blades on the ends of swinging chains (very original) ...even burning blades. It would be so cool if we could have a special ability of spinning the head around at hundreds of rpm - you strap on a helmet with a crown of blades, and charge into the enemies...
...Flame throwers! (goes without saying)...

Aah yes! Iron Butterfly ... classic titan.
Here's another classic Titan, bit newer: Catch the Rainbow. Live in HD. two parts, of course.

That dwarf battle tank reminds me of the ork battlewagon from warhammer 40K. Nice!

I think DA3 should have a transmutate spell that turns enemies into small animals that can be killed by stomping. Also, I would love a force magic spell called force collide that grabs 2 enemies and flings them at each other at a high velocity.

Also I felt like some of the combat animations were too slow, in that they only induced seizures 12% of the time. They should be so fast they appear to be moving backwards, like wheel spokes on TV.

We shouldn't forget the dinosaurs. That was a splendid idea. Riding into combat on dinosaurs. Don't understand why that isn't in all games?

You better get your fists ready then, since DA2 is obviously the better game; yet not as good as it could be, as in games like GoW and Dantes Inferno, we simply need more bigger darker and thornier enemies, and more of them, also there needs to be gore and blood, glorious features like glowing eyes and weapons and less of the droll realism that plauges DA2.

And while we're at it - the enemies in DA2 already fall to pieces if shot/hit/slashed/bashed, so wouldn't it be cool to have a sandbox level where we can make a big tower out of them - World of Goo style? The more enemies you kill, the more parts for your tower, the higher your tower - and the whole world can see how bada** you are! Wouldn't that be .... wait, what is the word ... ah yes, awsome!!!

I believe some think so yes, but it really isn't - DA2 tried to become a force majeure, but it's simply too restrained and failes too often to depict acts in such a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction.
Yet it's a step forward from the failed attempts at any sort of emotional droll intellectualism that DA:O just vaugely attempted, all while failing horribly to pump any sort of emotinal high into the player.
In comes DA2 as to feed our hunger,  and our capricious natures get at least partly sated: Yet what DA2 lacks, and what DA3 should aim for, is to really make people feel an continous emotional high as their desires and lust overfloweth and you can play the game as if on a constant arousal and euphoria.

I would be happy with just more gore, and more things to do with it - as you can strangle people with their own bowels, or beat people to death with the limbs of their fallen comrades.

There weren't enough enemies in this game....God of War 3 had WAY more. Plus...maybe next time include some epic fights ala GOW3 where you are climbing on a giant darkspawn!! Or a dragon! Combat overall needs to be amped up, and less menus and collectibles. This was a pretty good action game but I hope improvements are made to a third game.

Nice sarcasm but have you actually played the game on nightmare or you are just another sheep that finished the game on normal/hard with champion set and now thinks he is the king of the rpg's?

This is called mass effect. One dog barks and all of the sheeps follow..

The drugs that they'd have to ship as part of the game would be too expensive, and my doc doesn't want to perscribe me some of that stuff... so, no.
Gods, you are actually being serious, right? Gods. Well, I for one have a differing opinion - I tried GOW on my brother's computer - and I yawned. Yawned. Because I found it boring as hell. I found DA2 boring for much the same reasons.

I was being sarcastic. Very much so. I can live with gore, but I don't play games because of it - most of the time it just makes me laugh. And killing lots of people doesn't give me a sense of accomplishment in a game. It's just boring stuff I put up with because there are other aspects that interest me.

Obviously I'm serious - just look at what people always crave post release - more spikes, more gothic and extreme weaponry, more gore, red eyes and skimpy clothing for the girls ~ why not go all Tatcher on us and measure what we desires most and give it to us? There is no inherent value in art saves what gives us the most pleasure, and a fully fleshed out instant gratification game would truly trump the old and trite attempts at art, that even then just failed.

EDIT: I'm certain that when they/EA/BioWare look at the metrics of DA2 that they have gathered from us they will see that we don't stop playing in the fire battles with fountains of blood, but after once we have to face the bore of tall that walking about and talking.
