!Bewarned the video is rather disturbing!

UPDATE!

I'm sorry but this really sickens me, how the statement on our society.  In the video two african american women nearly murder a white transgendered woman. And what do the McDonnalds staff do? Stand around like like a bunch of ****s. Everyone in the video except the elderly lady is a criminal!

That's sad. That kind of stuff goes down in my neighborhood all the time (which is why I'm moving in May).

This sort of stuff happens all the time. People would rarther stand and watch this stuff and film it for their youtube videos than do anything to stop it. It's like when there's a major car accident people just stand watching and filming it.

Do the races of the aggressors and the victims really matter? I don't care what color you skin is, you shouldn't be beating people up in McDonald's, nor should you be beaten.

I think racism has at least a little bit of a role in this but still... It is a random act of violence and this stuff happens to all ethnic groups, it's not a one way street. The thing is just how you sited the example of how that kid was shot stuff liek this is becoming more common. And society teaches us to be a bunch of pansies and not get involved in **** like that. Parts of society even encourage random acts of violence and the worst thing is our government dosn't do a damned thing to stop or curb crime. Or at least they could be doing soo much more.

I think it just shows the state of society as a whole rather than any racial issues. People have this selfish attitude now where they don't feel the need to help a person in trouble because it doesn't effect them or they get a kick out of watching it and filming it. It's kinda worrying that stuff like this is becoming normal in some peoples minds to a point where they don't do a thing to stop it or even encourage it.

This thread will be locked pretty soon but just wanted to get this in there before it is.

Because Mcdonalds staff are trained in the illusive Crouching Hambuger and Striking Nuggets self-defense techniques for just such an occasion.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t get involved of course, basic human decency requires everyone in proximity to interfere, be they employee or customer. But no one will. You can rob stores or mug people in crowded streets in broad daylight, and everyone would just walk on as if it’s not their problem, assuming there’s no need to even call the police because someone around probably has it covered.

@Mesina2 The media we have nowadays are a major contributor to that.

I don't blame the others for not doing anything. They don't know the story with those people.
Maybe the one getting beat up deserved it? We'd have no way of knowing.

Of course race played a part, but any set of those paticualr circumstances would of resulted in pretty much the same.

I think it shows more the typical response to the situation, regardless of race. Sad really. People get scared, have mob mentalities and so forth.

The guy should have put down the camera and helped. Anybody could have helped but instead they watched. Yeesh. This stuff scares me. Look Like she was going into convulsions in the end there.

The worst part? No one helped......

After I watched the video, my faith in humanity was once again given negative points.

I loled. In what scenario could she possibly deserve to be relentlessly pummeled and stomped into a seizure, short of comitting genocide or talking in the cinema?

murder, attempted murder, rape, kiddnapping, doing the same thing to one of thier friends, etc.
any of those things could have happened but they didn't have the kind of evidence to put them in jail so they felt they felt they needed to take it into there own hands.

Everyone is so quick to assume who is the good guy and who is bad. THAT is one thing that pisses me off.

If this is legit, there will be charges filed against those employees, especially the one filming. Standing around and watching while someone gets battered, then telling the perps to run before the cops show...that would be illegal.

Random Vangaurd, I completely disagree with you. The 'story' doesn't matter in this instance, the law does, and protection of civilians. These people are despicable for not helping her. Only the elderly woman has the guts and sense of mind to stop it.

1st of all even if she did something to them, NOBODY has right to do it to her
2nd if I was there, I would pick up a f*cking chair if needed to protect her

I agree. NOBODY deserves that kind of treatment or even punishment,
whatever they did. That is completely horrible, unethical... Even if she
was prejudicing or not, it doesn't serve as an excuse to do such thing.

Apparently it was the beating of a transgender woman.   Opps there went all the conservative and/or white sympathy!  That makes me sicker than anything else
