So you don't think intensity can overshadow primacy? In this case, primacy being the core game's plot, and intensity being the sex cards?

Maybe you have to be a man to consider them "intense."

Not even...because I sure as hell don't consider them intense. It's like Miller is one of those people who can't stand Anders being gay or hetero or anyone else in DA2.

No one forces you to sleep with the women and even then all you see is a card and you CAN skip it. Your forced one time in the game and it's with Triss your lover. Which makes sense I.

I see Dragon Age 2 trying to use sex more aspart of the game then Witcher. Considering every single woman no matter how old seems to have an hourglass figure and have one dimensional personalities at times.

That isn't true, there are at least two time when you are kinda force to have sex. One is to save the vampires from a ****house other is a conversation with Shani that ends with having sex and believe me I never get ninja sex, that was the only time ever.

Let me say that I am fan of The Witcher universe. I am reading the second book at this moment and playing for the 5th time TW 1. About the sex cards well they were wrong even if people don't like to heard it and this have nothing to do with nudity, it is the concept of collecting women, yes it is simple as that.

The world of The Witcher is sexist yes but there are characters in it that do not like it nor abide by it and guess who Geralt loves? there is nothing wrong with addressing sexism in a fantasy world it is quite refreshing actually, the problem is the devs are trying do attract a certain part of the demographics and forgetting about what the game is all about.

For example the recent thing with Triss in the playboy and the calender have the style of EA all over it. Triss will never do that, she would burn your ass, that is for sure or you would be naked before her. Again nothing against nudity but the concept behind it is cheap and the game already has this, why take the mature feeling from it?

About the women in DA 2, well I love Isabela my favorite character ever and she dress like she does but it suit her, it is part of you she is(if Aveline dressed like that I would rage forever). She is not your typical female protagonist nor she has a body of a super model and when I look to Triss well Triss is your typical female protagonist, beautiful, perfect, straight, caucasian she is even suppose to have a scar in the neck according to the lore, it seem scars are not for the perfect woman.

In my game, Geralt didn't sleep with the vampires. I think he should probably draw the line at shtupping monsters.

No your not forced to sleep with the Vampires or even help them Blue Eyes quest line possible outcomes There are a lot of ways to finish that quest.

Isabella
like Zevran where the companions I spent no time with or killed when possible. Isabella is busty, big ass, almost is very exposed for a ROUGE at least Zevran had you know armor. Isabella only serves to to sustain interest in the younger crowd. Every she says and does makes her seem like the easy chick everyone wants imo. At least Zevran you know is more interesting with the assassins and all that.

Triss is strong has political power and associates with some of Temeria's elite. She's obviously isn't an open book considering at the start of Act III she is having a conversation with some woman (who's name escapes me now). She
has her own agenda. Isabella is all about herself unless you romance her.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you did not sleep with the vampires you had to kill them? right? the only way to save them is to sleep with them and kill the knight. If that is not forcing you to have sex at the core story of the quest I really do not know what it is.

You get the most xp for siding with the vampires, but not as much gold. I love it.

Yup but the option to not sleep with the vampires is there wether you let them live or not. That's purely up to the player.

Wait... now I am confuse in the first part "Control" you can chose:
"A Life Spared" - spare the vampires and sleep with them
or
"The Duel" - Do not accept to sleep with them and kill the vampires

If I am reading this right you have to sleep with the vampires to not kill them.

One sometimes must distinguish between the monster in a human, and the human in a monster.

You can chose a third option and kill them all.

After sleping with the vampires nevertheless, Like a Boss.

Very hot...I hope we can sleep with all of them.  Joking aside, I'm glad to see more strong female characters.

Nice to see some more sorceresses, at least. From TW1, it's clear they have their own agenda.

They're practically a fantasy version of the Bene Gesserit from Dune.

you don't know that male gamers should play male characters and female gamers should play female characters?! ...wow.

But seriously only female's have some problems with play as a male... strange.

I'm a female gamer, and I have no problem playing a male character.  I can name loads of games I loved where I played the default male character.  Some of them I'm incredibly fond of - Guybrush Threepwood, Manny Calavera, The Nameless One, Chicken Chaser, Jack, Vyse, Riou.

Even so, I can tell you that if a game lets me choose, I will always choose to play a female character on my first playthrough, and very rarely play a male character on subsequent playthroughs.  If I create a character, rather than playing a pre-scripted role, my impulse is always to give it the same parts that I have.  What's so odd about that?

Well I didn't say that ALL female's have this problem. ;)

"Triss is definitely pleased about displaying her charms in Playboy. "Women and girls are constantly trying to attract Geralt’s attention. I’m happy to show them that they’re foolish to think they can succeed.""

NUUUUUUU! I really hope that this is not canon please... oh god NO! I am starting to really not liking where this is going at all. >_>

At lest they could put Saskia with a fullplate no? why is the cleavage there? and Ves? she is a soldier not a sorcerer and where are the scars? ffs not everyone has to be sexy. I am extreme disappoint with this even TW 1 did a better job with Rayla the soldier character.

Well I know sometimes Geralt is merciful, but "hey let's fool around" from a vampire should get a "uh... no" IMO.  And from that point on, they attack him, so it's self-defense.  Besides, they are turning others into vampires, so they got to go.
