So you don't think intensity can overshadow primacy? In this case, primacy being the core game's plot, and intensity being the sex cards?
Maybe you have to be a man to consider them "intense."
Not even...because I sure as hell don't consider them intense. It's like Miller is one of those people who can't stand Anders being gay or hetero or anyone else in DA2.
No one forces you to sleep with the women and even then all you see is a card and you CAN skip it. Your forced one time in the game and it's with Triss your lover. Which makes sense I.
I see Dragon Age 2 trying to use sex more aspart of the game then Witcher. Considering every single woman no matter how old seems to have an hourglass figure and have one dimensional personalities at times.
That isn't true, there are at least two time when you are kinda force to have sex. One is to save the vampires from a ****house other is a conversation with Shani that ends with having sex and believe me I never get ninja sex, that was the only time ever.
Let me say that I am fan of The Witcher universe. I am reading the second book at this moment and playing for the 5th time TW 1. About the sex cards well they were wrong even if people don't like to heard it and this have nothing to do with nudity, it is the concept of collecting women, yes it is simple as that.
The world of The Witcher is sexist yes but there are characters in it that do not like it nor abide by it and guess who Geralt loves? there is nothing wrong with addressing sexism in a fantasy world it is quite refreshing actually, the problem is the devs are trying do attract a certain part of the demographics and forgetting about what the game is all about.
For example the recent thing with Triss in the playboy and the calender have the style of EA all over it. Triss will never do that, she would burn your ass, that is for sure or you would be naked before her. Again nothing against nudity but the concept behind it is cheap and the game already has this, why take the mature feeling from it?
About the women in DA 2, well I love Isabela my favorite character ever and she dress like she does but it suit her, it is part of you she is(if Aveline dressed like that I would rage forever). She is not your typical female protagonist nor she has a body of a super model and when I look to Triss well Triss is your typical female protagonist, beautiful, perfect, straight, caucasian she is even suppose to have a scar in the neck according to the lore, it seem scars are not for the perfect woman.
