Bioware is my favorite developer is it wrong of me to think Witcher 2 will be better then DA2 was?

DA2 didn't get the time or creativity it deserved it was just a rushed product for a quick buck and look at how bad it's selling. Regardless of what you think the majority clearly hates it.

Witcher 2 was in production after Witcher 1 was finished which was released back in 2007 I think? A new game engine was made just for it because they want their game to excel. Clearly CDPR looks like they have been trying to make this sequel meant for PC gamers. After ME2 and DA2 we see how consoles dumb our games down (ME2 and DA2 are still enjoyable) ME2 was an excellent sequel albeit some things were cut but still fun DA2 just wasn't up to the Bioware standard like other games.

And as for the Witcher being sexist big deal! It's dark fantasy it's more realistic. Why shouldn't the developer build the game world around the book? I don't remember women being equal in the book or even in real life. So whats your point? Were women not treated less then men during the Middle Ages. Sannom you saying someone doesn't know anything about the Dark Ages doesn't make it so. You may not know anything but don't expect everyone else to not know. I know expect you to Google some stuff and reply to my post now.

I am not quite sure *what* video was exactly trying to parody DA2.
Many people think it was the April one perhaps, but I have yet to hear someone confirm that.

I´m pretty sure Triss will kick ass  From what i have seen so far, it´s really a lot like world in the books, which is awesome.

The preview posted is great, so looking forward to this one, to hell with DA2, after my 2nd playthrough it doesn´t take much to convice me that TW2 is better...

It wasn't about DA2 like you said there was no reference. It was a joke on how rpg's are being dumbed down. If you happen to relate that to DA2 then who's fault is that?

Witcher 1 combat wasn't very good which is why I modded it. Witcher 2 combat is more like Arkham Aslyum except with more variet considering how you can take someone out. Magic, melee combat, traps, explosive and Alchemy should be needed more.

You could have simply avoid posting in this thread if you can stand people disagreeing with your perfect view of Bioware.

(1) I think the point was to not use simplistic tactics to attract the male gamer, like the sex cards. Also, not using those same sex cards as a proof of the game's maturity (the gamers are more guilty of this than Cd Projekt Red though). The Witcher is mature in a lot of respects, but the sex cards diminish this maturity in my opinion.

(2) Yes, they were. It doesn't mean that the author decided to introduce those elements because he wanted realism. And it also doesn't mean that the makers of the game should try to titillate their male audience with the sex cards and a mini-game which consists of collecting women.

Im a proud owner of dragon age origins (you know? the good one) and i also own other quality game for console (like red dead redemption).. The witcher 2 offers much and in the video with can see all the love they put on the project..They respect theyr costumers... So im an elitist because i think DA2 is a rushed horrible game?....Really?

Good im so glad to be addressed at elitist for this reason... also im glad to have not puchased that mess of a sequel called dragon age 2.. Soo i keep my money for a true sequel.....

Bioware now is only: Dragon age-Mass effect

I don't like sci-fi so much i also don like mass effect as an rpg but i must admin that is vastly better than dragon age 2...
