They're grown women. Not high school teenaged girls fighting over the football team jock.

Possible but bioware have said that fixing your choices will be more complecated then ME2 was.

They are adult women, but their personalities definitely don't compliment each other.
And seeing as they both have strong personalities, .....confrontations aren't that far fetched.

When Jack and Miranda were about to settle their "disagreement" I was thinking the complete opposite. Even a super biotic, and a genetically perfect human can act like kids

Really?! Are you 12?!
Sure they are grown women. I am guessing you have never been with one because if you have you would know that women are very jealous and territorial over their men. Also the fact that Ashley and Miranda both have strong and outspoken personalities also come into play. Along with the fact that Ashley HATES Cerberus and Miranda doesn't really have a liking for the Alliance. They are complete opposites in most areas and depending on how you played, they both may be in love with Shepard. So it only seems natural they would clash. Also, if you have ever even played ME you should know that the women in it fight with each other over a lot less.

+1
Or when Ashley got catty with Liara and Tali in the first game during the meetings. There are plenty of instances of the women of ME not getting along and acting like teenage girls.

Funnily enough, my canon Shep originally romanced both Ash and Miranda... I might just make two versions of him: One where he stays with Ash, the other where he hooks up with Miranda. That way I can see both outcomes.
Yeah I have multiples as well. It will be very interesting to see how Bioware handles this situation. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that Ash will be very hurt and pi$$ed. Shep will probably say something like (P) "I didn't want to hurt you. I didn't think we would ever be together again", (N) "You were hostile toward me when we last met", ® "What do you care, I thought you hated me?!"... and so on.

I agree, it would be interesting. Also, Ash would win. Miranda may have biotics, but she's not a straight-up fighter like Ash is.

Lol. Well, I've always preferred Ash anyway. I'm no fanboy, but I WILL set people straight when they make ignorant comments about her... well, I'd do that for any squadmate since I liked them all, but I did always like Ashley most of all, out of either game. She even beats out the likes of Legion and Wrex (and Grunt) by a close margin.

Odd how one can now be called childish for assuming women would have a semblance of maturity.
While most of what you said is true to some extent, both Ashley and Miranda are grown, disciplined and militaristic women who've most likely had their own previous experiences with relationships.
However, I admit I am assuming what the OP meant by "catfight" was a physical confrontation. I could understand and would fully expect there to be a verbal confrontation. Heck, I would think it likely that there would be a confrontation between the two of them regardless of whether or not Shepard was in a romance with either of them.
If a verbal confrontation was what the OP meant, then that would be my mistake. However I stand by my conviction that niether or the characters would stoop to the level of an immature, ear-biting, hair-pulling tussle that everyone seems to be envisioning.

I'm envisioning more of a brutal, in-your-face, UFC-style fight that Ash would likely win, having been taught Marine hand-to-hand. Though if Miranda gets a chance to hit Ash with her biotics, it's over.

As I recall, the only one who was acting "catfight-ish" was Jack. Miranda was keeping her cool.
