And you can't deny Miranda is...wow.

In the end, i played the default run, and had intimate relations with Miranda .
I am currently, playing a loyal to Liara save, but i don't have the DLC yet so aww.

I wouldn't really say Shep cheated. She pretty much grilled him when she first saw him after 2 years and then left like she wanted nothing to do with him. If I was in his shoes I would have more than likely thought it was over between us as well. So he probably thought they would never be together and moved on. It's not like as a  character he went in with the sole purpose of "cheating" on her.

Its not so much a issue with her, it is a issue of what her character represents. The suit... that damn suit. She is basically just a clever guise to replace interesting characters with a set of breast and cocky attitude.

If you manage to look past the "suit", da ass, and her breasts there's a well written and complex character there. Yes, physically she's fan service. But it's not like the writers on staff said "let's make her a good looking mute with no character development." If you give her a chance, she's pretty deep.

I agree Miri is a very deep character (as deep as any other squad member in the game).  I am trying to wrap my head around all the angst some people have to her catsuit, it isn't like she walks around in a thong.  The game even pokes fun at her choice of atire in Miranda's loyalty mission.  Plus, it seems all the angry surrounding this subject could be alleveated by just buying the alt app pack and equiping Miranda with her armor.  

Ehh... people are people. I personally liked all the squadmates, from both games, to varying degrees. But there was never one that flat-out didn't like. I dunno, I guess I'm a minority here in that regard.

I actually liked all the squadmates as well. Which is rare to find in any single game. There is usually always 1 person out of the bunch that is really annoying. *cough* Carth Onasi *cough* Alistair.

two years have passed between ME and ME2 she has mourned Shepard meaning she has moved on normally when someone you loved has passed away you don't really expect them to be miraculously alive a few years later so you mourn your loss and you try to move on

I agree. She went completely off the handle after seeing Shep back from the dead. That is the complete opposite reaction I would expect someone to have if I returned from the dead regardless to where my loyalties lie(especially if they were "in love" with me).  I'm just saying. Hell, I would have prob wrote her off too and moved on after that. She didn't even bother listening to Sheps side othe story.

your forgetting the relation between jack and miranda (cannot say more than that due to it being a no spoilers sector but they did not end up well.

But I feel that ashley will be trying to get shepherd back (probably why she has the new look) and miranda will be reminding shepherd of why they are together.

But i feel they are very much the same as each other but they are likely to be like magnets (two of the same sides pull away from eachother, opposite sides pull together)

I do agree with you Dazaster dellus that ashley did not really respond very well at all to it all I felt she had changed for the worse in ME2 and as well it did seem like pretty much as we are over conversation with Ashley in my opinion shepherd did nothing wrong moving on infact it was a good thing in my books

I really can't remember them being that bad to each other. I mean, there were little snipes here and there at each other but they weren't as bad as the girls in ME2. Even Tali was a little catty. But she pretty much hated everyone though. It was funny seeing Thane & Jacob trade words. I really don't think Jacob would come out on top of that one. lol! But I digress!
