Miranda would destroy Ash. She could crush Ashley's skull with her biotic powers of she wanted to.

Miranda has a very unfavorable situation in ME3. On one side she might be romantically involved with Shep, on the other side all she did in ME2 is show her absolute loyalty to TIM and Cerberus. With cerberus becoming an antagonist, she will just end up bad.

I think you need to replay 2 and watch as Miranda resigns from Cerberus on the CB at the end

Miri resigns from Cerberus at the the end. Don't assume that she'll turn to the bad side. >:(

Foursome.

you ppl thinking too small  We can romance ash/liara in ME1, Tali/Miranda/Jack in ME2 so if you do it right you can have 2 started romances and 3 free girls to join in

Non issue for me, I can't stand Miranda and I only romanced her once just to see how it plays out. I don't like her and I don't trust her. Ash on the other hand I like, my second favorite romance after Liara, sure we don't always see eye to eye but she is loyal and while she doesn't trust aliens she doesn't want to screw them over either unlike cerberus.

You people make up some weird fantasies, you know that? There may be some harsh words exchanged between the two, but both are mature enough not to hold it against Shepard or to actually, physically, fight.

If they do fight because of Cerberus vs Alliance or whatever other plot point,

Ashley Wins!!

Friggin' awesome! I don't even see how Miranda could win. Sure, she has warp but Ash has top-quality SpecTRe kinetic shields and armour. That and the fact that biotics cannot be used with a bullet through your head.

Miranda would wipe the floor with Ashley.

I like both. But if I have to choose, Miranda wins hands down.

Actually, Ashley has a much more harsh view regarding aliens than Miranda.
Miss Lawson praises the Asari culture, expresses disgust at many joining Cerberus out of Xenophobia and one of her most trusted people in the Galaxy in an Asari.

Also, no catfights, please. They're above such things.

Shep will probably say something like (P) "I didn't want to hurt you. I didn't think we would ever be together again", (N) "You were hostile toward me when we last met",  ® "What do you care, I thought you hated me?!"... and so on.

It would be funny if one of the options were "but we were on a break" :) as Shep explains Miranda to Ash.

She resigns if you destroy the base. That could just as easily get retconned.

She has immunity, the greatest defensive ability ever. And overkill. Miranda's crappy ME2 abilities wouldn't be much of a match. Ash has a crapload of health and Armor because she is a soldier. Miranda wears that suit which causes all men around her to lose intelligence (intentional purpose?) but it couldn't take that much punishment.

Miranda will win because my Shep will defend her. I have never liked Ash and if she even looks at Miranda the wrong way in ME3, she'll be the one with a bullet in her head.

Why did you necro this?

Paragon - It doesn't matter who would win in a fight, really. If you favour one character fine, whatever. If you dislike both, then the topic doesn't concern you. If you like both, good for you.

Renegade - Suuure, man. Let your Shepard rescue the damsel in distress. Without your herpy-derp character Ash would stomp Miranda to the ground.

Um, we have two encounters to... counter this statement. First, Liara/Ashley clash on the Normandy. Second, Miranda/Jack clash on the Normandy SR2.

In both instances, the participating party acted childishly. I really wouldn't put a cat fight past them.

I'm sad because I left Liara for Miranda but Liara seems so level headed about the entire thing that I don't believe she'll get mad and start a fight... How sad.

I prefer Miranda because her relationship with Shep seems to be the only one that changes over the course of the romance. At first, both are hostile towards each other because of where the other one came from. Then Shep tries to find out what her deal is and she opens up to him because he offers some help on a deeply personal situation, and suddenly she throws her devotion to Cerberus (the only thing she's ever been loyal to) out the window because her loyalty to Shep is stronger.

I would. Liara and Ashley were at odds, not even close to fighting. Jack confronted Miranda, not the other way around and even then it's because she was tortured for years in a Cerberus facility and needed revenge.

Who loves Shepard? Nobody loves Shepard, because Shepard is a ******.

Ash is fire and Miranda is ice, polar opposites of each other. The only real things they have in common are their love for their sister(s) and each trying to help humanity though they go about it in two very different approaches. Strictly in terms of fighting Miranda is a Sentinel and Ash is a Soldier:

ME1, looking at the classes two abilities its my opinion that while Soldier starts off strongest of all classes Sentinel is VERY formidable at end game. But as we all know in ME2 neither Soldier or Sentinel were as badass as they used to be (no more immunity and overkill for Soldier and no more a lot of things for Sentinel though tech armor does a world of ). The ME2 companion characters got nerfed even moreso than Shepard. I know they're mixing up and adding more abilities to both classes in ME3 so who would beat who in a fight really will have to wait until then, you know, when they are BOTH actually part of your squad. Any talk about: "Ash had this, this, and this while Miranda only has this, this, and this..." should be taken to a thread that focuses in on why characters in ME1 had both more abilities and stronger powers than characters in ME2.

That said I still think Miranda is a better representative for humanity simply because she's willing to do what it takes. Ash on the other hand wouldn't even help Shepard with saving the human colonists in ME2; and more or less said her main reason was because she wouldn't help Shepard because he's working with Cerberus. A valid excuse since that would blackball her career but I don't see why she couldn't have taken a more active role elsewhere like how Liara did. As it is looking how ME3 is shaping up right now it looks like even though Shepard is starting out with the Alliance Miranda and other key characters will be popping in to help out in some way or another. Certainly moreso than: I'm not going to help because you're working with the Alliance and still may end up facing a trial after all is said and done.  No, she'll do what she has to.

So yea, Miranda might have "dat ass" and struts around in cat suits but Ash comes up pretty short in some other key areas - and this is from a guy who loved Ash more than any of the other LIs in ME1.
