The things I would d..........yeah, they did it for LoTSB, but not Arrival.

I find that odd.

Was it really needed for the "Just woke up from a near-coma" scene?

I love how femshep runs in ME1 and 2. Like soldier. They should just remove the horrible dress and everything is fine. I'd hate to see any girly leg crosses or anything.

Yeah, I too love how she walks like a gorilla. Please don't change that absolutely ugly animation that looked kind of stupid even on the male character.

I bet you haven't seen many gorillas. Only thing they need to do to Femshep is make the shoulders seem less tensed up all the time. Then it's perfect.

Bioware added decent run and walk animations for females in Dragon Age 2. They probably have a bit too much sway to be realistic, but they're much better than using male animations on female characters. I know Bioware have a common shared library of animations--why not just use these for Mass Effect 3?

I hate the DA2 Female animations. Makes her look like she's trying to seduce the whole town with her ass not act  like a warrior. I put the male animation to my femhawk and my enjoyment was significantly improved.

This is funny and sad at the same time. Also, maybe they should address clipping issues too? See her hand?

Yeah the walking animations suck on both male and female Shepard. Looks absolutely retarded.

And let's not even get into the horror movie neck.

Well, I for one prefer "Gorilla"-FemShep to "LOOK AT MY HIP"-FemHawke.

I think the only problem with the above picture is that Bioware decided to put a skirt on a fatherflippin' space marine!

A nice black suit would have been so much better.

This. I can tolerate the "manly" animations from my female Shepard. She is a tough woman and a soldier.

But if they ever change her to walk like femHawke swaying her butt all the time, I swear I will chuck my monitor out the window...<_<

The only way to solve this is to have different walking animation selectable like Saints Row.

But that ain't gonna happen, even though most character creators should be like Saints Row.

Pretty much this.

I always feel a massive disconect after playing my FemShep in ME:1 then going to ME:2.

In ME:1 she was feminine without being over the top.

ME:2 she's a butch as hell bloke in a dress.

They did it right in LotSB, so why they didn't do it now... I dunno.

Hopefully LotSB is a template for ME3's overall quality.

That's what I fear and why I prefer both Shepards to have the same animations. It's the lesser evil.

Yep. I'm all for a middle ground between "Gorilla" and "super-girly". But if it's either/or, then I prefer Gorilla. Might be awkward when femshep puts on a dress, but in full body armor it's fine.

The formal dress was DLC, it's not surprising that it has a few compatability issues. Putting in some different animations is a good idea, though. If it would come at the expense of more important features, however, I can live with it.

I want some human walking animations this time. And separate for males and females at that.

Yeah I hate how she sits in that dress! There are just some areas where women should not strive to act like men and sitting in a dress in one of them! BW please if OP pic doesn't convey how bad that really is legs closed or crossed either one of the other or at ankles when in a dress regardless of weather it is long or short! If she's wearing pants I don't care if she wants to go all manly sitting cuz they're pants! Honestly you have girls on your team no? Pull them in and ask would they sit that way if they where dressed like her?

fshep also needs to be able to have separate dance moves from mshep if he wants to do the Shepard shuffle more power to him but she shouldn't! Come on! Girls who can't dance would at least like a character who can she doesn't need to go all seductress dancing but more then a shuffle just have her do a nice light fun dance style. I don't expect her to go all out on the dance floor sense she spends more time shooting then dancing but something other then the Shepard shuffle.

People have complained about her walking which I really don't care about it doesn't break my game but what does make me say what is her sprinting ability she runs just as slow as mshep does both run like they've gained 50lbs which I could always say well they did die in ME2 and had zero activity for 2 years but in ME3 speed them up they should've gotten more activity in by then. I also liked how the ME camera zoomed in and the world went by faster it made me feel like I was sprinting faster where as in ME2 I didn't get that he felt 2pts faster when sprinting then he did when walking.

I also prefer the gorilla walk. I think in DA2 Aveline does that gorilla walk too...or at least her subordinate at Wounded Coast did (what was her name? Brennan?)

My FemShep's has a pretty face but I'd like her evened out with tom-boyish body language. She reminds me of this one girl I know. Freakin' gorgeous but once she opens her mouth it's a bit alarming. She says, "dude", and has a pitch equivalent to an 8 year-old boy. Makes her more interesting that way.

But I don't want her to have a sexy voice like Lady Hawke either. The moment I heard FemShep's "feminine and sultry" voice at Jacob I gagged. And although I didn't mind the DA2 hip-swaying sexiness I don't think that'd match Jennifer Hale's VA of FemShep.

I want to see several animations though:
1. Turtle FK
2. ManShep brofist with Garrus
3. FemShep slapping Garrus' ass
4. FemShep dancing on the pole for an undercover dancer sidequest

What, you didn't like the Limping Gorilla walk/run animations for both DudeShep and FemShep?

ME1 had perfectly functional movement anims for both DudeShep and FemShep.  Fem's weren't too girly, but they were still identifiably female.  And neither of them shambled like a surly oaf.  Why were they pitched in favor of the Limping Gorilla?

Err, you're kidding, right? (I bolded the words i'm responding to.) That dosen't even make sense. Go ahead, give Fox more fodder to bash Mass Effect. Their next news feed on it will be "Oh yes, you can be female, but you're a stripper!".
Also,  FemShep's voice is perfect in my opinion, i'd hate to see it fiddled with.

The tightness of Femshep's uniform just reminded me of the spandex shorts in volleyball uniforms. Our girls' team slapped plenty of asses, a way to show our closeness as a team. Because whenever Garrus shoots down a hostile I feel like slapping his butt. Or I guess a high-five/three(?) would be just as effective.

But I think you might've thought of it...like...slapping a kid over a knee. Oh no no.

Probably...?

Definitely.
