They should go back to ME1 Femshep her walk was good.
Pretty much this.
I always feel a massive disconect after playing my FemShep in ME:1 then going to ME:2.
In ME:1 she was feminine without being over the top.
ME:2 she's a butch as hell bloke in a dress.
Bioware should probably make female animations in ME3

If it was possible, I would suggest they rip the animation code straight from ME1 and fit it into ME3.
Also, dropping the catsuits, leather belt bras, and Jacob's...whatever, and giving everyone decent looking, yet functional armor (i.e. Miranda's armor in AAP2), that would be great too.

I always thought the dress was horrible choice in the first place. Shepard's a soldier not a prom queen.

Yeah, and in the one mission it's actually meant (and context-appropriate) for, FemShep will make a comment to basically that effect. Being able to use it after that was just for amusement purposes.

Yes I would prefer the whole crew (except shep) on ship wear comfortable clothing or just go back to the uniform style like ME had cargo shorts is not a uniform BW. Shep gets different casual as well as a Commander style outfit cuz you know he's the Commander and dress however he wants

THIS and HELMETS, Mother F***ing HELMETS!!!!!
You have no idea how furious I get when I'm playing ME2 and I see miranda or Samara or Jack (OMFG) on the quarian ship in a breather when nothing of your body is supposed to be exposed cause its a clean environment. Or when Miranda, Samara, jack, Liara, anyone is in freakin space and they have exposed skin.

I can only imagine.

QA probably didn't wander around in a military ship in an [b]evening dress[/i]. Funny how one disconnect is "jarring" and the other an "enhancing option".
I have yet to DL the lastest DLC so was assuming that if Commander Shepard was wearing a dress she had a perfectly good reason to do so.

The only DLC that makes you wear it is Kasumi's. After that, it's just another casual option.

Fox is run by conservative jewish and church propaganda... So when they announce **** like that, 90% of the country roll their eyes anyway. It's not like people listen to their nitpicks.
Anyway yea I agree about that pic. I've seen femshep's walk and it does seem slightly off, but what really seems awkward and somewhat annoying to me is how both femshep and maleshep look down when they run, like they are hunched.

Shepard is a tomboy and there's nothing wrong with that.
Being a tomboy doesn't make a woman have a walking animation that doesn't fit with her skeleton. No woman (or man) walks like Shep does in ME2. But the larger issue (to me) is that there isn't such thing as a 'unisex' animation. Men and women move differently due to their respective skeletal structures.
But that issue aside, while I can see why some would find tomboy shepard appealing, I think it's a stereotype that a woman in the military should be/are (butch) tomboys. A woman can still be strong and NOT have to have the same mannerism (and animations) as a man (I feel like it's saying the only way a woman can be powerful is to be a man...) and from personal experience most women I've seen in the service still retain their femininity.
Didn't mean to have a feminist mannifesto up there ( in fact I kind of dislike that sort of thing...) but as a woman, I feel like there are so many misguided views on this topic. Besides, any woman, no matter how butch would have the common sense to close her legs when wearing a dress (especially in front of a superior... or maybe....BOWCHIKAWOWOW:D)

So long as it's not like DA2's ridiculous female animations
Yep.
I'm all for a middle ground between "Gorilla" and "super-girly". But if
it's either/or, then I prefer Gorilla. Might be awkward when femshep
puts on a dress, but in full body armor it's fine.
+ 100. Yeah this.
I couldn't take my female warrior Hawke's hip-swaying animation seriously enough. It might work for a mage, but there's too much unncessary movement -- as a warrior, couldn't there be a more neutral and less of a beauty-pagent gait?
I also thought the new limping mode was a part Shepard's slight physical awkwardness after being 'dead', bed-ridden, or disconnected with his/her body for two years. It seems normal for 'coma' patients to temporarily loose their sense of balance when they wake up. Though this shouldn't last for more than a few months.
Or as Bluko mentioned earlier, it could be an engine limitation.
Anyway, let's see what happens for ME3. Like many others, I hope they change it back to ME1's animations, or improve upon them.
I just really, really prefer that they don't take cues from DA2's female walk.

There have been no animation issues in ME1. Just go back to that and that's all. I somehow fear that when a point like this comes up BioWare takes the feedback supercharges it and goes way over the top with ultra feminin stripper like animations (just what happened in DA2 btw).
I am sure Jennifer Hale who is female Shepard would be able to stop that from happening .
