I agree, but if we're going to see a Quarian's face, it might as well be Tali's.Eradyn wrote...
I'd like to see a quarian's face at some point. It doesn't have to be Tali's...hell, I'd be perfectly fine with the reveal showing up in a citadel advert for enviro-suit repairs or something. XD

whereas if they did something more unusual say a mix between a turian and a dwell then you would people complain saying that is not what they were hoping for they were wanting someone more attractive.
But for me I think it will be better if they just unveil it because spin offs i am sure if they do it really far into the future or past they will not be masked (probably)

Also @TomY90
If Liara/Asari fans actually start getting angry because they think Bioware has made Tali more attractive just to suck up to Tali-fans they really need to get a life (and I don't think they'd react like that anyway).

I have no special love for Tali above any of the other ME characters (love them all..except Jacob). But man, I REALLY want to see her face. In part to see the fanbase reaction to it, but also because I can't help wondering what on earth those Qurians look like (I refuse to believe they are as human-looking as many of the fan-arts portray them).

I counter you, good sir. Intentionally making her "ugly" would not only be an utter low-blow by BioWare, but a really bad decision, marketing-wise. You wanted to see her face in ME1, you got an infuriatingly-close tease in ME2, and then in ME3, they make her unattractive? Something doesn't add up... I'm sure BioWare's entertained the idea, but if they pursue it, they will break many fan's hearts, and my heart as wellSturm.B wrote...
I don't want to see it. I like the mystery about it, though I would not mind if they revealed a random quarian's face in ME3. If they choose to reveal Tali's face in ME3 I'm sure thew will make it ugly (more like 90% sure.. YEAH thats how good my imagination is suckers lol)
As well, Tali in a sense exemplifies the best of the quarian race, in a similar manner to how Grunt exmplifies the best of the krogan. Even among her own people, she is seen as a prodigious talent, a mechanical genius, and a figure to follow (the entire unit on Haestrom died for Tali, not for the Admiralty Board, as Kal implies). If she is the quarian uplifting their entire race, BioWare is most likely going to make her look the part.
Besides, I'm interested to see what she looks like. Part of the "mystery" factor for me is getting to compare my vision of Tali with BioWare's final verdict on the matter, and find out if I really did "see" what was under the mask.
Gah, I need to stop. Knowing I need to wait for another year is unbearable

If BW doesn't show me her face after that tease of a love scene, they better make her the best goddamn romance ever.

If it was a quick scene, like we're talking to Tali or a random Quarian and they nonchalantly have their helmet off (they're suiting up in a sterile environment or something), that would be fine. As it is, I feel they would more or less make a bigger deal than it needs to be. It's a big deal to us, sure, because of the mystery. But in their universe, it can't be that way. Bigger Reapers to fry, and their faces aren't entirely unseen, just rare to see in person.

What if they unveiled her face during her love scene in ME3? That seems like the best way to show her face and give it the importance most fans want it to have, right?

I like this idea of Tali just casually having her helmet off in one scene. It doesn't need to be built up with suspense. As I understand it, the characters in the game already know what quarians look like underneath the masks, it's only a mystery to the player.

Doesn't that matriarch on Illium say that she's aged to the point where hardly anyone remembers what the Quarians truly looked like? I think it's just as much a mystery to the main cast as it is for us.

I don't think so, the quarians were an advanced space-faring civilization. That they had invented the camera and taken pictures of themselves is sort of a given. Besides, it was only 300 years ago that they were forced into life aboard the migrant fleet. Krogan and asari would remember what they looked like.

True. But I don't think anybody in the main crew except for Grunt, Tali, Samara, and likely Legion, have an idea of their real appearance. Quarians seemed like an.. insular people so I think they didn't take a lot of pictures
Again, this is all baseless speculation on my part. Maybe they'll just troll us with a huge amount of lines saying she's beautiful, then have her come out like this:

You could agree with her that it would be safer to wait (an option for people who don't want to find out what they look like)
or
you could leave it up to her (which it would depend on what your relationship with her up to that point was on what she would choose to do)
or
you could say that the Quarians finally are able to be home again and being sick for a little while would be worth experiencing the moment without her mask (thereby revealing her face and possibly that of other Quarians as well who may follow her example)
This way everyone who doesn't want to see her face or wants to see her face would have the option and everyone would atleast be somewhat happy. I know for me no matter what she looks like, whether I like what she and the Quarians look like or not, I will be happier to see either way than not having the option. I also feel that many would consider not atleast having the option to see it would reveal Bioware to be getting more lazy and unwilling to do something that might upset fans. I know some fans myself who would think that.
As a side note, I also don't have a problem with a face reveal being something that the player has to work towards to unlock, because it would also provide the OPTION to see the reveal or not.
