I read this the other day, but didn't see a topic posted so here it is:
Mass Effect 3 wordt moeilijker | PC games

And the English translation can be found here
PC Games Dutch - Google Docs

***************
EDIT: A native Dutch user on the forums was kind enough to translate the article for me, so here's a more accurate translation:  better translation
****************

:blink:Who's Kai Leng?

The notable bit:

Hudson
also announced that Commander Shepards built team from the second part
of Mass Effect 3 has fallen apart.

Moreover, he ties in Mass Effect 3
includes the battle to the prohumanistische Cerberus, the organization
where Shepard in part two still worked. A character by that which
Shepard has to deal with conflict is Kai Ling, an assassin with an
aversion to aliens. He was previously addressed in Mass Effect:
Retribution, the third book on the Mass Effect universe.

Another
character that makes its appearance in Mass Effect 3, James Sanders, a
muscular man who "looks like a football player on steroids diet," says
Chief.

I'm not going to lie, I'm very wary of this "football player on steroids diet". If the character remotely resembles anyone from Gears of War he'll never be on my squad :P

 yeah I'm with you on this one... Not fond about having some roided-up meat head on Shepard's team... if he's even remotely similar to a Gears of War meat puppet then I'm going to A) stow him permanently on the Normandy B) Kill him off if / when the first opportunity arrises.

Frankly, I'm bound to give him little playtime in my squad regardless of what he's like... I want my Shepard's story to be focused on and around the people she's come to know through ME1 & Me2... I'd have been perfectly fine if they didn't add a single new squad member in ME3 (I don't mind it's addition though... just that I likely won't give them much use on my core playthrough).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So we spent the entire second game asembling a squad for..... one mission.

That's it? These characters have so much potential. Don't let them of the leash yet Bioware. Just because everybody's complaining that they want more Tali, Garrus, Wrex, Ashley... doesn't mean that you have to get rid of these wonderful characters!

Did you 'really' except the whole team to stay together between the Time Skip and the Trial?

If this is true then they have some F**king explaining to do . Because the whole idea in 2 was go and get team together . This smells of a big fat retcon

I agree Mass Effect 2 and its characters have been Sh*t canned by Bioware .

Lol, how can you retcon a story we haven't heard yet?

In anycase, story path that I don't like does not always = retcon

I think there's a lot of suffering to be had in the next few weeks and it's all going to be due to a harsh translation shredding some of the intended message.

The ME2 squad might not be present for the trial because they shouldn't like to be showing their faces in such a public outlet given who they are. And as for Sanders, I just hope it's an exaggeration.

The Team spilts up after many telling you that they have to leave after ME2, there's a timeskip over a year long, and that Shepard is on a trial wasen't enough to tell you that the team wouldn't be all together when ME3 starts? Really, you didn't see this happening? Especially with what happened with ME2. Really?

I'm guessing the concept art of the guy with cybernetic legs in the GI article is indeed Kai Leng (as if there was much doubt). Good to hear some confirmation though.

You guys still read ExtremeOne's posts? Come on.. surprised he hasn't been banned yet with all the swearing.

Do not give me that crap . Bioware is basically now making it real clear that the Mass Effect game they released last year does not matter in the story of the ME franchise .  In their eyes Mass Effect 3 is the real Mass Effect 2 game.  I swear if this is true I want every game media site to call them out on this utter bull sh*t

Oh yeah, apparently he's the one TIM ultimately sends after Shepard. Too exciting!

Another thing; we should hope for the best with Sanders' design because I very much doubt he'll play a bit role if he turns out to be Kahlee's brother, which is rather likely.

You know, with a standing Metacritic score of like 96, I really doubt BioWare is pushing ME2's plot away.

Ok I can see one or two of them doing that but not whole dam team . I spent my time getting a team together in 2 . I frankly do not want to do that same sh*t in 3

Where is this 'over a year' time skipping coming from, anyway? Hudson said a few months.

Another split-up? Come on! It's like the second Shepard isn't around, the team just wonders off like clueless chickens.

This is the important thing to realize anyways, it's just a translation, not official news from BioWare itself.

Is Kai Leng a romance!?
