I don't think it's the xenophobia personally, but I don't think she would look beyond humanity too much and see the big picture. She'd always put the Alliance first, even when it wouldn't be the best option. I'm well aware Shepard him/herself can be even more pro-human and even outright racist, but that's really up to the player, and Shepard has always had that X-factor that the other companions don't.

She is neither. Close term would be human patriot, but she is not racist and also not supremaicst, because she never said anything about aliens to be worse, just that she doesn't trust them completely, but it was more meant globally than individually.

If that term is perverted, it is perverted also in such way you showed. If someone doesn't completely trust other side, doesn't mean he/she have to hate that other side. And as history shows completely trust and open arms to others sometimes backfire on you.

Terra Firma is like the Zabi family taking the memory of Zeon Zum Deikun to start a family dynasty and a revolution! of course they did assassinate him to kick things off. and Ashley is like the dudes that followed Char after he formed Neo Zeon II. Homeboy preached the ideology of his pops.. but everyone knew what was really going on. Spacenoids rule and those one Earth have their hearts grounded!!!

Anyway I have feeling that most people who call Ashley racist didn't read even half of her dialogues and after few lines quicky form opinion on her without deeper understanding of her motives.

i think Ashley will be a good Spectre she is a good soldier and a good human she like a human justicar well not like shoot first ask ? later justicar she not xenophobic she has not work with aliens so she has not had a alien Teammembers but i think she has a bite of trust for tali and garrus and liara and i think wex too so we have to wait and see if Ashley will be a good or a bad Spectre

Jeez, why you cannot let people stay with their opinions? Everyone interpets character's words and actions as want to. There is no way to 'understand' character 'wrong', it's personal impression and nothing more.

BTW I'm sure Ashley will show no signs of this untrust/'racism' in ME3 because of such discussions.

And really, personal opinions is one thing. Someone who saves money can be seen as conserving (positive) or frugal (negative). Then someone comes along and says that person is a greedy bastard. That's taking it too far.

i was gonna be anal regarding sushi and sashimi cuz im bored...but i agree with your subjective thing. the thing i dont like is when you voice an opinion in a open forum and someone says your opinion is wrong because it is a opinion OR it is stupid because they dont agree due to A B and/or C.

You're forgetting that Ashley's career stalled out before it started because of family prejudice.

I think the Ashley/Kaidan comment about being Spectrs is just full of hot air.
As far as I know:

1. Shepherd is the only human Spectr in existance
2. The Citadel council is the only organisation who's capable of giving you official Spectr status
3. To get the spectr status, you need to do something remarkable to be accepted

Point #1 is that Shepherd being the only human specter is what makes him all the more unique.
Point #2 I can't imagin Council starting to just give the Spectr title away like candy; now if we were talking from a point of view where Shapherd let the council die and it's replaced by council ran by humans, than it's be possible.
Point #3 being connected with #2, I could see Kaidan comming in, but not Ashly, especially not with her anit-alien attitude going on.
