Excellent suggestions.

Plus, make the quarians sound like this before their speech has been run through the translator.

She's going to look like a sapiens. one of the Mass Effect novels described a Quarian loosely.. except for the hands and feets, pretty much looked human-ish.

I am all for a suitably alien yet attractive Tali. That said the "Tali is Swarms of Things" meme never fails to get me.

I think the people wanting Tali to be uber-ugly are going to be disappointed. Unless Shephard is even more kinky than one might think. He saw her face in ME2 and wasn't horribly repulsed. He looked pleased actually.

My guess is vaguely bird-like, like Turians, but more human-ish, as someone said above. Their 'hair' would be plumage of a sort, and so on. They definitely are humanish if you listen to the books anyway.

I think the interview made it clear that they are going to handle Tali's design delicately. They might try to squeeze in as many inhuman features as they can without making her ugly (Ex. Asari head tentacles) but I don't expect anything too radical like predator mouths.  I doubt that they will look anything like birds because their skeletons look almost entirely human save for their fingers and legs.  A lot of people have suggested that they will look like birds because they have the same protein chilarity as Turians, but it is worth pointing out that A. Terran Birds have levorotatory proteins like people. B.  The Turian's do not have metallic exoskeletons simply because of their protein chilarity.

Why did it have to be a mystery at all? They could've avoided this whole dilemma by showing a Quarian face in the first game before everyone thought of their version of what a Quarian should look like. I would like to see a Quarian face, it doesn't necessarily have to be Tali, though.

I am really looking forward to seeing tali/a quarian's face in ME3. Honestly Bioware has every right to design the quarians any way they want to, they're the creators. If we all worked for Bioware then we'd all have a say. But since we don't we will have to be content with whatever the final product is, I know I sure will.

I think it´s the right thing to do with showing us her facing, because it´s not just her face, it´s how all quarian look like!
And since Shepard already knows how she looks, and there are probably enough ingame extranet articles that show how a quarian looks, I presume there´s nothing that keeps Bioware from revealing her face (yeah, I know, except the fans...Still, I´d like to know how those damn Quarians look like )

I agree that it'll probably be birdlike, or lizardlike. I'd say furry and vaguely anthropomorphic, because we don't have anything like that yet in Mass Effect, but I don't think the reaction to that would be great, too many avatar comparisons. Also, Fur/hair makes it a **** to get an airtight seal on anything. Hehe.
