Not if you like intelligent, thoughtful movies, apparently. There seems to be a lot of cool graphics, but other than that it looks like the characters are mostly one-dimensional and the horrible story is just an excuse for the director to overload on the CGI. But if you like disaster movies and amazing special effects, it would probably be your thing.

I'm not exactly a fan of Roland Emmerich
Here is the question that matters. Did you watch The Day After Tomorrow? did you like it? There you go.
Coen Brothers
Alfred hitchcock
Akira Kurosawa
Takashi Miike
Chan-Wook Park
Charlie Kaufman
Billy Wilder
and so on and so forth.

Yep, the majority of the movie is people running from explosions and jumping limosines and RVs off of buildings. I thought it was pretty cool though

Just watched Krull again for the first time in ages, 1983, pure quality.

I've got loads of favourites.
The Usual Suspects
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
American Psycho
Amelie
The Shawshank Redemption
The Pianist
The Italian Job (The original because the newest one is bad. I have no idea why it's called The Italian Job)

I've always like Marx Brothers and Laurel and Hardy
A Boy and His Dog was a fun cult movie
If you like that you might like Repo Man and Death Race 2000 (the old movie that isnt anyway related to the new one)
Dario Argento movies are great especially if you are a fan of horror and spaghetti westerns. Suspiria might be his most well known.
I've been wanting to watch Beyond Rangoon again because the setting in jungles of china/thailand is awesome.
Mongol is perhaps the best movie of recent years. Fans of 300 but wanting a better plot must see this movie.
