The best templar companion is one slain and raised with necromancy.  I want one.  I'll call him "Rotty."

Ooo, I like that idea!  I'm still curious about the funny gurgling sound.

What color do you have them paint your toenails?

Anyone else thinks that it's funny how the last two pages are completely off topic?

Anyways, I wouldn't want a normal Circle mage, since they seen rather dull...

I don't care if they're in the circle or not, but I would like a having a normal, level headed mage as a companion (to complement myself) rather than a self righteous, revolutionary abomination and a naive, obsessive blood mage. Bethany doesn't count because she's unavailable for most of the game and only has that one Birthright quest that's really more of a main quest than a companion quest.

So there's a distinction between the two as I was claiming.

Actually not really.  Demon is just a particular type of spirit, and even the so-called "benign" spirits can and do lie (including Justice).  Actually the first to point out that there really isn't a substantial differnce between spirits and demons is ironincally none other than Anders.

They touch me in a place that they're not suppose to. Then I ********************************** and kill them afterwards.

So what were you saying about Biff?

Justice feels compassion for the wife of the dead Warden and wants to help her. He also wants to avenge the dead Warden and ends up hating Darkspawn. Demons feel no compassion for mortals and only seek to trick them. How would Justice be a demon tricking the Grey Warden by helping him and leaving at the end?

Isn't everyone now claiming that Justice has become Vengence, that he's a demon now? And we know that what he's doing is because he feels compassion for the mages.

Justice sure showed compassion for Ella, that young circle apprentice.  Yes, sir, that was a regular Hallmark moment.

I don't think compassion is the right word to describe how Justice/Vengeance feels about mages. He merely feels it is unjust, and wants to avenge every mage who ever died in a Circle. It has nothing to do with actual compassion.

Even if it kills them!

Re Circle mage:  Another Wynne??  MAKER NOOOO!!!

Honestly, a lot of people complained you couldn't play an apostate, now people are complaining about too many apostates on the team?

Considering how observant the OP is on matters which are easily verified such as whether Elton John in alive or dead, is it even worth arguing w/ him over things he clearly has no idea?

Merrill is possessed by a demon? Did you even play the game?

Indeed if she was possessed by the demon, then who possessed the dalish leader? a double personality demon! rofl.

What innocent mage Anders killed?

Ella the circle apprentice in Dissent that was about to be tranquiled and then raped by Ser Alrik.  Unless you do a special aggressive/diplomatic interrupt, Anders kills her for calling Justice a demon.

The whole Anders/Justice deal is a good example of the expression "The Road to hell is paved with good intentions."

Any Hawke can do the interrupt.  If she dies, part of the blame lies on the Hawke that decided it was a good time to make a wisecrack or something instead of trying to snap Anders out of it.  Not absolving him, but it also makes Hawke full of fail.

The point is that Justice like mos spirits don't give a rat's posterior for human lives as human lives. They don't put any value on humanity...only on that aspect of humanity they've chosen to emulate....and Justice in particular is very sensitive about the idea about being confused with a demon IMHO because he's become one (and was well on his way to becoming one even before he made that deal with Anders).

I don't know about that.  The only hint we get in DAA that he's falling prey to demonic tendancies is his envy over Kristoff and Aura's love.  As the Warden can point out, it's not wrong just to want something beautiful without anyone else being harmed by it.  But more importantly we see this hint was meaningless because he's given the chance for just that if Hawke gets involved with Anders.  Justice has the chance to experience it through Anders, but instead Anders tells her "Justice doesn't approve of you and I.  He thinks you're a distraction."  As for his paranoia at the demon mentioning I can see why he would be sensitive about it.  Imagine being accused of being a communist during the McCarthy era.  Only instead of an alternative social and political setup, it's about pure evil.  Honestly I'd worry if he wasn't sensitive about it.  "I am in no danger of becoming a demon" reeks of having fallen prey to Pride.

Not that I'm defending what Justice has become in DA2, only that I don't think he was showing signs of turning bad in DAA.  I don't even have any theories on what happened that I think are reasonably possible, but I am of the camp that believes Justice tainted Anders far more than the other way around.

That's not Justice. Obviously you aren't paying attention to Anders right? Did you play Awakenings? Justice has become Vengeance. Partly due to Anders' anger about templars and Anders even states this. Vengeance being opposite from what Justice was. Justice is good, Vengeance is bad. He's a demon now and that's what Ella says. Proving my point about demons - they're not good.

Yes, spirits are dangerous just as demons are but someone being dangerous doesn't make them evil. Spirits generally (according to Justice) avoid humans and elves and believe they shouldn't interfere with them. Some spirits help humans and elves and save them just as Justice helped the humans in the fade. While out of the fade, Justice began tasting what the physical was like and was destroyed in my opinion. He couldn't truly return to the fade after that and due to corrupted teachings, joined with Anders (something he said he would never do when he was fresh from the fade) to stop The Templars but ended up becoming corrupted. Spirits that become corrupted are demons. Vengeance however probably retained some of his justice, hench his hatred for demons but he was corrupted.

Once again, I wasn't arguing about Wayne. I hate Wayne. I want a mage who is normal and supports the templars.

Justice wasn't all that good even in awakenings, and you have yet to show me anything that distiguishes Demons from Sprits. Demons seem to be Spirits with especially forcible personalities (to paraphrase ironically Anders in DAA).
