If you know max script or Maya MEL script or other 3D art tools (blender gmax, etc) scripting languages please post a reply here.
I am currently working on attempting to convert and expand upon Tazpn's Max 8 Import code to get animations importable. (Tazpn's importer currently works for Max 8 to import models and skelton's but doesnt do animations)
I've expanded it enoug to create a GR2 to XML converter that allows to at least look at reading the various data contained there within, (which for animations is alot of NURB/Bezier curve like mathmatical info)
The overall goal is to try to get some importers for various tool types, therefore the next step is to try and coordinate with someone (or multiple someones) with such 3D scripting knowledge to understand how to to import animations with said scripting based on the data extracted.
If you know the math behind motion animations (NURB/Bezier curves, etc.) please also reply, as some of this data still needs interpretation.
Looking for Max/Maya (or other 3D tools) scriptors
