I just ditched Immovable for stonewall so Aveline has damage reduction while dealing reflect damag. My current tactic is Self> being attacked by melee> stonewall. I've been experiencing good results when combined with Isabella's threat management. The only problem is when one of my ranged allies gets aggro from the many insta spawn enemies and Aveline is still under melee I got no other option than to manually control because tonewall paralizes her.
Do you guys know of any setup I can use to make her skip the stonewall tactic and aid an ally if both her and other NPC are under attack?

You could check if any other companion is under attack and put those action before self melee actions?
Hawke: Been attaced by melee enemy: Action here or rule skip?
Sef: Been attacked by melee enemy: Stonewall
Then there is also rules check if enemy has someone as target, but not necassary yet in combat. Example melee enemy runnign toward companions.
Enemy: Target of Varric: ***
Of course there are better ways to deal situation, than try to get Aveline to run there if you have more than one range companion?
Like rogue redusing aggro of ally with talent. Some range companion could just attack or control the enemy what is in melee with you other companions. You can basicly set you range companions to defend them self and other weaker companion with range spells and talents, while Aveline is doing the main job.
I ques stonewall is very good protection, but very stamina costly. Upgrade version would take 20 stamina every 10 second.

I set my stonewall to activate only when Aveline's health hits a certain level. Usually I have something like:
Self > Health is below 50% > Stonewall
The reflective damage isn't all that impressive really. If you want Aveline to be a damage dealer tank, get her Scatter with Disperse and throw down an Overpowering Fog on top of enemies around her.

I know the damage isnt that great, I just wanted to a way to reduce damage plus hittin g back for a few without resorting to immovable/retaliate.
Im having Varric use armistice and so far is working. Thanks for the help

Try adding a jump-to before the stonewall tactic. Maybe something like:
[tactic x] Ally: Being attacked melee -> jump to [tactic x+4] (due to bug)
[tactic x+1] Self: Being attacked melee -> use retaliate
[tactic x+2] Self: Being attacked melee -> use stonewall
[tactic x+3] Enemy: Attacking [party member] -> attack
So, she'll use retaliate/stonewall when being attacked in melee, unless the specified party member is being attacked, in which case it will attack the enemy attacking the party member.
You can add another self melee check and link it for the ally melee if you want to strictly go assist when both her and the ally are being meleed.

Can stonewall and retaliate be used at the same time? I tough Stonewall completely immovilizes Aveline.

I have no idea tbh. You can invert the order to use stonewall first, so they dont end up being used together.
Sadly I think there's no way to add a delay to the skills or check if a specific skill is active.
Edit: actually does "wait" command last forever or just a specific ammount of time?
