Pedophilia and homosexuality are completely different things. Most pedophiles are actually heterosexual; they are attracted to the age more than anything with gender being a minor issue.

BioWare is actually not at all that sexist, if you think about it. The body proportion is (more or less) correct for most females as well as males. All you have to do is compare with the monstrous build-up of characters in God of War or Gears of War.
With that in mind,
- A well-developed bosom =/= sexism
- Muscular men =/= sexism

If a woman has a thin waist, great boobs and so on, is her existence in the world "sexist"?

@Ainmarh you raise an important point there.
If a woman has a thin waist, great boobs and so on, is her existence in the world "sexist"?
The venom poured out on a woman who happens to be thin and attractive is "totally OK" - it's cool to pour scorn on people for how they look *if it's given a political slant*.
So a woman can talk about you "not being a real woman" or "not looking how real women look after having a baby" because they're jealous and full of bilious hatred and everyone nods and congratulates them, meanwhile you're still a skinny "real woman" and a human being, getting abused for how you were born as if your existence in the world is an insult to womankind.
It's a physical characteristic - if it was being done because you have brown skin or an ugly face, people would get fired for that behavior in a fricking heartbeat.
The next time you're congratulating someone for insulting someone on TV who happens to be thin or have boobs of a certain type or whatever, remember that.
Better still, imagine it's a guy talking about a man with muscles, but dressing it up as politically correct, and realise how utterly pathetic and jealous it sounds.
Erm..... you really really really lost me here

You're missing my point. My point is that despite being a very small segment of the overall population, gay designers have a very strong representation in the fashion industry.
And I'm not just talking about designers, but about many of the people that work behind the scenes.
Sorry - I just don't see that.

Thats because the majority of people are heterosexual. If you look at it from a per capita basis, then it might be different.
I have no evidence to support that claim though, so I won't pursue it.

I would agree with this statement perhaps, if it weren't for the fact that homosexuality and pedophilia have had such strong congruence throughout history.
Even to this very day, in Afghanistan there is a phenomenon called " Bacha Bazi," that sexualizes young boys in place of women..
Expose on bacha bazi
And as I said above, most pedophiles are heterosexual because most people are heterosexual. If you were to look at it from a per capita basis, then it might be different..

That is a super awesome rig to be sure... What kind of display do you have it connected to? It would be almost an insult to hook something like that up to anything less than Nvidia surround or 3D vision...
And did you build it yourself, or buy it? And no, I'm not trying to be sexist
Personally, I'm on a i920 @ 4.2ghz, GTX 480 SLi, 6GB of low latency DDR3-1600, Gigabyte UD5, Velociraptor 600GB in RAID 0, Samsung 305T Plus 30 inch monitor.
I think I'm going to wait until Intel releases the enthusiast chipset for Sandy Bridge, before I do another major upgrade.

Gay men are in high proportions in many fashion/entertainment/arts areas - part of that is probably because these industries attract more liberal people to begin with.
It isn't a gay conspiracy.
As for male models - I don't follow them by name. Fashion trends change and the appearance of models reflect those changes. Again - there's no gay agenda at work here. : )

That's a nice rig too - and Sandy Bridge definitely is the way to go imo. I was torn between the Intel i7-990X and the 2600K - I have no regrets about going with the Sandy Bridge...
I bought this from Maingear. I've built my own rigs in the past - but it's nice to sit back and let someone else do the work at times.
To be honest I don't like to game in 3D - it gives me a headache. I wonder if after awhile I'd get used to it.... Dunno..... Right now I have it hooked up to my 60 inch plasma (Pioneer KURO PDP-6020FD ) - I'm waiting for the price on the Samsung 6 panel surround to come down a little... : )

Yeah, I really want to go Sandy Bridge so I can hit ridiculous clockspeeds with ease
Or maybe AMD's Bulldozer will retake the performance crown from Intel? I haven't had AMD in my rig since my Athlon 4000+

And you paid 4747 USD for it? Thats actually not a bad price, considering the kind of hardware and tweakage you got. Or is that just for the parts and not the labor?

Man, I like you already
I once toyed with the idea of a big screen TV for my main display, but when I eventually tried it out, I found that I couldn't get used to the lower resolution. 1080p is a big drop from 2560x1600 after all.
But I was probably sitting too close to the T.V I think.

I've always built my own PC, recent years I've just taken to upgrade a part at a time when needed. Bit cheaper that way for me.
Got myself an Asus M4A785TD-V EVO mobo, AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4ghz (Overclocked to 4ghz) OCZ Platinum DDR3 ram (o/c to 1.6ghz) and a cheap ass eVGA Geforce GTX 460 (over clocked to Core: 825mhz. Shader: 1650mhz. Memory: 2100mhz)
I love tech talk

I'm a tech freak. Don't care about clothes or jewelry - gimme 7.1 surround!
Dunno about the AMD - they've been the underdog for awhile... time will tell !!
That price was for the parts and build. They had a sale, and several upgrades. It included only one 590 tho - I put the other one in after I'd had it for a week - so, total cost was around 5400 USD.
And now that we've completely hijacked this thread --- sorry OP!
"puters are so much more interesting tho than sexism!
edit: The graphics do take a hit with the 1080p - can't say I don't miss the higher resolution!

Nice overclock - looks like you're getting the max out of your setup. I'm not super familiar with the AMD processors - although a close friend swears by them, and won't use anything else...

Thanks! Your system makes me drool tho. I'd pimp myself out on the street corner for it lol.
Yeah, pretty much maxed it out, anymore and I think it would catch on fire. I like AMD, although not as much since they bought out ati and got rid of nvidia chipsets
And to the PC gaming is dead part, mostly console users say that, dunno why. While back EA even stated that the future of gaming was on the PC, just too lazy to find the article with that quote.
Uhh, what was the topic again? I forgot.. Something about sexy i think. *looks to his PC, and thinks sexy*

Crysis 2 was a big let down. When I found out that the game wasn't even going to ship with DX11, I was dismayed; despite the game running beautifully at max settings (I have a great config if anyone wants it).. Although I must admit that I was irritated by the fact that I had to wait 3 years to be able to play Crysis at 2560x1600 maxed with comfortable frames, I still wish Crysis 2 would have been more like it's predecessor in how it brought even the most powerful rig to it's knees.
If Crytek can release a DX11 patch a long with a hefty texture upgrade pack, then Crysis 2 could be rescued. If not, I suppose we'll have to wait on Battlefield 3 to really stress our rigs!
Not that I'm a PC elitist mind you. Some of the best games I've ever played were on consoles or ported from consoles (ie Mass Effect)..
Anyway, what games are you guys/gals playing right now, and what games are you most looking forward to?
Right now I'm playing Dragon Age 2 (still haven't beaten it yet), and Crysis 2. Looking forward to the Witcher 2!! That game will rule!
Batman Arkham City is also very high on my priority list. It's predecessor Batman Arkham Asylum was one of the best games I've ever played. I don't even read comics, but I found myself gaining an interest in Batman after playing the game.
And it had PhysX! I hope Batman Arkham City uses PhysX as well!

Real men underclock.
My x4 955 can still stay at 3 Ghz with only 1.15v.
Though I overclock it for 24/7 use. (3.8 Ghz/1.475v).
I also overclock the Northbridge.

I think all my overclocking is killing my power supply. My computer has started shutting off spontaneously lately for no apparent reason (very sporadic), and I'm convinced it's the PSU.
I have a 1000w power supply, which ain't no joke. But with my CPU overclocked to 4.2ghz and my GPUs overclocked from stock to 850mhz, it's really put an excessive load on it.
Overclocking Fermi GPUs really causes the power usage to skyrocket! It's a miracle that Nvidia managed to make a dual GPU card out of this generation, given how much juice the suckers love!
