Whenever I try to play ME2 now I get an error as soon as I hit any key to continue. It says that it lost contact with the servers try again later. This has never happened before and I have to Ctrl+Alt+del my way out of the game. I went into mydocuments/Bioware/Masseffect2/ and deleted everything out aside from my saves and it worked temporaryly but now its back and I don't want to do that every time I want to play ME2.

Yeah, same thing here. I find if you're patient (or try to click the actual 'Ok' text of the message with the mouse), the alert will go away, and you can try to connect again and it works fine. Really, super annoying to have to do it every time I start the game though.

The ok button doesn't respond at all though....

Tried to start a new game after running though ME 1 again, but it will not connect to the servers.
Same for DA 1 and 2
This crops up on the menu screens rather than in game.

Alright I found the solution:
- On the left hand side of the page go to Profile > Register games. Unregister your game (hoping this is universal for DAO, DA2, ME2) and register it again.
- Make sure you're logged into both this site and Ea.com (look for login at the bottom facebookish bar)
- Make sure on the EA site that your email is verified, if not do so by having them sent a verification email.
- Logout of both sites, Log back into both sites
- Give it a couple minutes
- Boot up your game and when it says you lost connection hit ok (my button actually worked at this point)
- Go into options and disable Auto-login
