OK, I would be dong this myself if I had any artistic talent whatsoever. But I don't. Every time I've tried, I fail miserably. Drawing remains outside of my talent sphere, and it always will. And I don't have money to pay for the commisions I'm asking for, so instead I'm coming to the Bioware Social, hat in hand, asking for a handout of awsome ME artwork.

A brief background to this project: I make music videos. I'm not the most talented, but I do allright. And my latest idea for a music video is this: a badass montage of artistic drawings of Shepard(both MaleShep and FemShep) and all 12 members of his/her suicide squad. And Joker/EDI/Normandy Crew if there is a good submisison for them. All to the music of 'Fake It' by Seether.

If you want the prime example for what I'm looking for, watch this video(Sorry if you're not a RedvsBlue fan, but it should give you an idea of what I'm looking for. If you are a RedvsBlue fan, and don't want to see what they look like without helmets, don't watch):

Each portrait will be focused on for about 5-8 seconds, with two portraits per squaddie. And yes, Jacob has to have two. I'm not cutting the man out. In several of my playthroughs, he gave his life for the mission(cue somber music), so he deserves respect.

In each portrait, I want to see the ME2 squaddie standing alone and in a badass pose, looking like they're at the peak of their game. They can have MaleShep or FemShep standing next to them, but with their faces hidden/obscured if at all possible. I want people who see this video to be able to see their own Shepard next to these portraits. Backgrounds are optional, but encouraged.  I'm not real particular about artistic style for any of these portraits, as long as they pull of the look of the squaddie accurately.

And just to be clear, any submissions must be your own work. I don't want to get any nasty messages from people saying that I used their work for my video. And I will be giving people credit in either the summary of the video, or in the video itself.

I really need help from you artistic people, here. I can't do this on my own. If I get enough sumbissions, maybe I'll make a second video. But I guess that depends on the responses I get.

Maybe you could try drawing from screenshots as a reference?
Drawing is something you can learn believe it or not. The more you do it the more your brain will develop the pathways used to reinterpret the visual world as a 2d thing, and come to understand the physical techniques of making marks on the paper.
I wouldn't write yourself off like that, from your other videos, you obviously have good sensitivity to the visual world.

That is an awesome song, I fully support this! Good to see other Seether fans here.
