The wiki says that they are but the thread last night seemed like random speculation. Either some jackass got funny and wrote that there or it is in fact true since the wiki takes down any ME3 speculations. Has it been confirmed? It says nothing of it in the GI article, but I haven't seen the PSN one yet. I myseld prefer GI and take anything said by PSN with a rather long stick.

The thread regarding this matter last night was very unreliable so that makes me not believe this very much. Is there any concrete info or is this as true as ME3 releasing in the 13th of November?

From what I can gather from scans I've seen, this was gleamed from the PSM3 article. There are inconsistencies in other "facts" within the article however, so make of it what you will.

Can't say anything about Kaidan, but Ash hate aliens, she can't be a spectres. Or this if Shepard make paragon dialogues with her, and romanced her, maybe then she will...

No, she doesn't.

Even if she did, that doesn't prevent someone from becoming a Spectre.

I'm pretty positive it isn't absolutely confirmed. It was in a magazine article about ME3, but as it has been noted previously, that article got other things inaccurate.

There are scans with screen shots that have Kaiden's armor with the Spectre symbol on the shoulder clear as day as well.

I really dont have a problem with it if the VS becomes a spectre.

If you think about it, it makes sense. Was part of the first human spectre's crew, instrumental in taking down Saren and saving the citadel, survived a collector attack and whatever else happened in the 2 years between ME1 and 2.

Sounds to me like someone tough enough and experienced enough to become a Spectre and what with Shephard in hot water for the arrival incident, Humanity needs another figure head so to speak.

they changed James Sanders' name. they can change a logo and take away the title.

there have been numerous threads regarding VS being spectres. (search is your friend) i say the same thing everytime. i dislike the idea...IF they have them show up from the start as spectres..NO WAY. if it happens in ME3...no problem.

Ok I'm impressed, never saw that in the scan. So until Bioware confirms one way or another I'd say thats a tenative yes. Personnaly would have preferred them just being N7s, but I guess they'd need one Spectre to take down another.

Honestly, Iike I said before:
They made Liara the Shadow Broker, Wrex into the king of all Krogans, Garrus into freaking Batman and Tali into a respected member of the Migrant Fleet.
I really don't see why Ashley/Kaidan shouldn't also be spectres, given that virtually every other character has been given a status upgrade I don't see why they shouldn't.

Honestly, I'm happy about this. Ashley being a Spectre will hopefully provide an interesting change in her character and I look forward to seeing her develop from a single marine to an Alliance Spectre. This would in turn give justification to the 'super important role' they were destined to have that kept them out of Mass Effect 3.

Sanders is just a name. Even  moreso, it was just a placeholder cus they couldn't think one up before giving the GI interview.

To clarify:
This is not a scan but the screenshot Bioware themselves released.
I just zoomed in on the part that people weren't readily seeing.
Which is understandable since the logo is right where the glare is on his armor...
