"For the love of Jesus, please, please, PLEASE buy our game. Come on. It's Easter. We'll still give you this copy of ME2 even. We need to at least break 2 million copies on this thing. Seriously you guys, come on."

It's only $20 off. That's pretty tame considering the recent sales online.

That's a good sign. No one at EA/Bioware cares about art anymore, so the only thing that will convince them to move Dragon Age back in the right direction will be financial failure of the new model.

"PLEASE!!! PLEASSSSSSSSEEEE! PLEASE BUY OUR GAME!!!! PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! PLAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSEEEEE!!!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE, BUY OUR GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

ME3 can wait till the reviews 5 months down the line this time. Not that I hate DA2 but this sort of marketing is disrespect to those who brought the game on day one or pre-ordered.

I'm sure there are some still caring about art. But a company as a body always cares about coin, shareholders and nothing else.

It's been selling at my two local stores for £19.95 for over a week now, only one guy at one of the stores had anything good to say about it, I could not tell if he was being genuine or just a sales person.

They dropped price of all newer releases, not just DA2.

Unless all of them are selling as poorly and price maintains, it's more of a global EA marketing move, than just to boost sales of DA2.

*converts 12.89 pounds into australian dollar*

Wow, $19.80.

My local EB Games retailer is still charging $ 90.

The discount is ca.33%; not 50%. More misleading reporting from the public.

Yeah, all of them are 50% off are they? DA2 is 50% off with a free game.

I'll pick ME3 up when I see it for £7. Selling a game 1 month after release this low with an extra game free is disrespect to the pre-orderers who you call your "loyal fans" and reward them with a few DLC bonuses only to - one month later, create a new deal for "loyal fans (words they actually used)" which includes ME2. No logic whatsoever. Loyal fans would already have ME2. DA2 was the first game I pre-ordered from Bioware and it's my last. Not because I hated it (I think it's decent as I said before) but because of their lies.

ITT: people conveniently forgetting that this promotion is also affecting Crysis 2, Sims Medieval, Shift 2, Bulletstorm, etc etc
