ITT: people conveniently forgetting that this promotion is also affecting Crysis 2, Sims Medieval, Shift 2, Bulletstorm, etc etc
ITT: people forgetting that this is DA2 board. I never said that the offer was ONLY for DA2.

Well you could have made it clear it was for a ton of games though.
But well, what can you expect from this board.

lol@EA for dropping the price of the game 20 bucks this early (and including ME2 for free to boot).

lol from the looks of it - every title you mentioned seems to be doing horrible. DA 2 has the most 'sales' according to the vgcharts. How sad is that?
No wonder those titles are also being discounted. They need to boost sales for all those games.

Yet they claim its selling "better" than Origins. Somehow I kinda doubt that since Origins outsold ME2.

Portal 2 PS3/360 version is published by EA.

They're giving a 50% discount on EVERY SINGLE GAME in the store. Get a grip.

seriously ?!? I never heard of that ! Anyway this game is awesome...

Uhh no they aren't. It's PC-Digital only. the Majority of their games do not do well on the PC.
Here's a fun fact: As a general rule - it would seem like a smart idea not to do a promo of 33% for games that sell WELL (Lets see this being done for the 360/PS3 right now). You only do those kind of sales for slumping sales and in this case the PC arena is doing horribly.

The only thing the EA store sells are PC digital downloads. It's not a retailer.

Almost every game released by EA is put on sale shortly afterward,
holiday or not. Dead Space 2 was put on sale for 20$ or something
immediately after it launched. Though this logic is thrown aside when it
gives people an opportunity to insult DA2.

Rest assure they are making MONEY some way on the game.

I'm not sure why they'd put it on sale for 20 bucks though. I don't see a 'sale' of it anywhere actually. It wouldn't make sense if it was selling 2-1 to the first game.

That's why I said as a general rule and - usually you don't do it for 33%. That's a huge loss.

Retail, there's barely any digital download games available for 360. You can order DS / PS3 / PC / ect to be delivered.
