Bioware, please, allow in next patch or so to be able to have opportunity to kill Merill.

Please, readers, I have posted this post before so do not want to start a whole new post about opinions on this , well can't stop anyone, but would rather this just stays as my personal small request to Bioware.

If you look at all your companions, except for Varric, you can get rid of them. I have tried and succeeded in all but Merill.

Whether siding with templers or Mages in Last Straw quest, Merill sticks with you. Trust me I have done so many ways. Being her friend, being her Rival. Have aggressive, sarcastic, or diplomatic tone. Done and not done her quests. Kept netural... nothing helps.

Everyone else is so easy to kill, except for her.

I am coming to a point where this game is starting to put me off so much persoanlly cause of her that I am about to stop playing.

Once, again folks, this topic has been beaten way too much , and would really like it to just stay as a request to Bioware. Nothing more nothing less.

Yes you can kill Merrill. If you don't have enough approval with her when you side with Templars she will attack you.

Merrill really has no one but you in Kirkwall. Undying loyalty is kickass.

And, uh, why exactly is Merrill keeping from you from playing? Just never use her and thar you go.

I have tried it , not sure what I am doing wrong about it, but did not work.

Did one play with nothing to rivarly or friendship... did not work (not done any of her quests)

Did one play with each 10 to friendship and rivarly the other, did not work. (not done any of her quests)

Both on above sided with templers.

If you have a walk through, please let me know.

I have posted before a topic on it and discussion went on to 3 or 4 pages, so check it out.

As to not using her is what I am doing mostly. But look at Feneris, Anders, Carver/Bethany, Isabella and even Aveline. They all can die by your decession or can be taken away. I personally since my deep hate for Merill would like to see her be able to be removed as easy as others.

I find it kinda disturbing that not being able to kill Merrill is seriously decreasing your enjoyment of the game.

Merrill is supposed to turn on you if you don't have sufficient approval and side with the templars. If she isn't, it's a bug and should be reported in the appropriate platform tech support forums.

What hoorayforicecream said. I don't have a 'walkthrough' I think if your approval is below either 75 or 90, I'm not sure. If you haven't done any of her quests, then she is DEFINITELY supposed to turn against you. So yeah, it appears you have a bug.

Also, yeah, there's no way to kill Aveline. She can only leave, but she won't fight you.
