I like Jack's shaved head. Her tattooes are awesome, and show a real emotional side to her too in how they cover up her scars. She is badass.
And I wouldn't want her to grow hair, she is extreme. And she is the only white girl I've seen to pull off a shaved head.

I'm not gonna see her in Mass Effect 3, so this change doesn't affect me at all, she died in the last mission in Mass Effect 2, I don't mind too much, never liked her anyways

I like the idea of Jack being a bit calmer... Not softer.
She has a rabid dog mentality that, if you encountered it in a real person, in real life, you'd be extremely uncomfortable around.
I wouldn't mind seeing her more focused, less likely to kill anyone she sees. The psychotic murderer mentality really put me in two minds when it came to that character. I liked that she was a bad-ass, not afraid of anything... I didn't like that she was animalistic and frothing at the mouth.
A badass doesn't have to be crazy. She could still be hard and not be nuts.
After her loyalty mission in ME2, alot of her mental and emotional baggage seems to have been resolved, it makes sense that she'd mature emotionally after that. Not to mention, the possibility of a real relationship with someone who isn't trying to screw her over or abuse her. That would go a long way to emotional stability.
Like I said. I don't want them to turn her into a simpering fool. But I'd also like to see her stabilize a bit.

I think that, by the end of ME2, she'd matured quite a bit, especially after her loyalty mission. She's still a ****, but she shows that she's stable enough to work in a team and think of others. She even calls Shepard 'Commander', which is a HUGE sign of respect coming from someone like her.

I don't think she'll be radically redesigned, say for example how Dragon Age 2 completely changed some characters from DA:O.
I think she's just getting a makeover.
IIRC it was said she'll have hair and more clothing this time around. But I'm sure her face and tattoos will be unchanged, unless she'd added a couple in the interim. The girl does like ink, after all.

I like Jack the way she was/is, with her hard outer shell and soft (but very hidden) center. And I had really hoped that she would have been a love interest for female Shepard.
In my opinion, she was probably the most believable and interesting female character in the game. The Asari females were Matriarch Benezia split in half, Tali seemed lacking something and Miranda was the "Maxim Covergirl of the Month".

She's going to be wearing more clothes and have considerably more (but still short) hair. That's been confirmed. She'll probably be somewhat nicer to Shepard and the crew considering that they've become more of a family to her than anyone ever has. She seemed to be very purposeful by the end of ME2. Hopefully her character will continue to develop.

Its possible, she doesn't have any money, so she could take a handout from Shep or wear Cerberus clothing. I don't think either option would appeal to her.

Not a huge Jack fan (I like her, just not *that* way) but I think she'd look good with a mohawk. That, and I think she should keep an edgy, punky look even with hair.

Jack is an interesting character I remember when she was first introduced and marketed during the ME 2 marketing compaign that I didn't think I would like her character and at first I didn't but over the last year in a half of playing ME 2 and getting more familiar with her character and motivations her character has grown on me. Seeing her backstory and understanding where she is coming from makes her one of the more fascinating characters in ME 2. Of course her strong anti-cerberus attitude as well as her calling out Miranda for being a cerberus cheerleader won her points with me as well. I am looking forward to seeing how her character grows in ME 3.
