I just hope her wardrobe no longer includes belts in lieu of shirts.

I can absolutely understand where your coming from,  but,  the ammount of ink she has just begs that she shows it off.

"You can only stay punk for so long" seems to imply that her design will be less alternative than the ones shown in that picture.

Hopefully "softer" just means "able to function as a member of the team." I like my Jack short-tempered, undisciplined, and wildly inappropriate.

I also hope "re-designed" just means she puts a (sort of) shirt on. Hair had better stay short and gloriously punky as well.

If they turn her into a big-breasted, cookie-cutter hottie I will kick Derek Watts in the teeth.

I second this. Except the kicking part. :P

Wish I could use 5 and 6 hairstyles for Shepherd.

I'm in favor of wifebeater + either gym shorts or raggedy cutoffs. Something that says "I'm not trying to stand out, but I'm also not trying to impress you, so **** off."

I also want to see that tattoos on her legs, but I don't want her to wear a skirt because no.

On Personality: Even if Paragon Shepard did good things for her she can't be recovered. 25 years of postive reinforcement towards negative (and sexy :D) actions doesn't go away after she's spent one night with a nice guy. I wouldn't be suprised if she still acted largely the same to most people, and I say largely meaning that I fully expect SOME changes, and acted softer towards Shepard.

On Costume: I think we'll see a hairstyle change. It's been pointed out that Jack's haircut is a remnant of her past, a past that she is trying to let go of. While I personally like her shaved it's not something that I see returning. In terms of a new style I'd like to see punk standard (short, black anad ragged) or cornrows. In terms of clothing I'd like to see her legs, not only for the obvious reasons, but also to see what kinda tattoos she has on them.

On the note of Ashley, really fast, I'd like to believe that Bioware has noticed the expansive public outcry against her redo and has decided to put her back to the way she was.

that sounds interesting, but i dont think a wifebeater and cutoffs would cut it in a futuristic sci-fi game. not to mention that bioware would probably put more detail into the costumes.

You misunderstand.  He just wants attention.  He just wants everyone to know that he doesn't like Jack.

Futuristic... versions of that? Hehe. On the Jack thread someone linked Chell's Portal2 outfit, and it seems very similar and appropriate. If you future up the accessories enough, anything can look science-fiction-y.

I do agree that Jack should have a spacesuit for when she is in space, though. Because sometimes you can't just slap on a breather mask and call it a day.

i agree, i would LOVE it if all the squad mates got extra outfits for when their spacing it up. though it seems unlikely.

I don't even need a whole other outfit. You can just put a skintight black leotard on under whatever clothes shes's wearing and call it gravy... it's just that exposed skin in a near vaccum or a toxic atmosphere trips my "Seriously?" switches pretty hard.

I think you're the one who misunderstood... I think the poor guy was just saying that Jack died in his play of ME2.

On another note, upon first seeing Jack's design I liked her, but I thought right away after beating ME2: wow, I could really see them taking her character development towards lightening up (especially if you romanced her, when she breaks down and all..)

Or maybe it's that her facial design looks like a beautiful woman in the traditional sense rather than in a crazy rockstar chick way haha, and I always wondered if they'd take it farther and give her longer hair in ME3. I think it'd still suit her, visually. If they do, I'm on the fence as to whether they should make her hair all punked out, or do something more traditional. I would be okay with either

#1 would be a great "softer" version for ME3 though.  Very stylish.

A change in her physical appearance doesn't worry me nearly as much as a change in her personality. Jack in a cute sundress is still Jack. Bubbly, upbeat Jack is not Jack.

Could not have said better I hope they dont change her in any way I romanced her and softend her up but that should only be for my Shepard for everyone else she should be the same tempermental B!tch
