Did you make this?
I think it'd be perfect if BioWare made her look like that.

Although I'm not a big Jack fan (mainly because she's pretty useless in a fight), I think that she, more than any other character, has the potential for diverse personality changes in ME3.
We'll see how much effort Bioware is willing to put into her...

Why does she need armor? Doesn't she have a biotic barrier?
A lot of fans want everyone to have armor and fully sealable suits.
It's a realism thing really, but despite that I still prefer the ME2 style where we got some pretty cool looking character outfits in exchange for a tiny bit of realism.
That's what bothers me about biotic characters having barrier instead of shields. Kinetic barriers react automatically to incoming projectiles. Biotic barriers do not. They need to be maintained, which requires physical and mental strain. A biotic relying solely on barrier would be dead quickly. A sniper's bullet from 500 yards would kill before they ever heard the shot.
I know I'm nerding out over this, but it aggravates me. Especially considering the fact that BW did such an excellent job with attention to detail in ME1.

I really wanna see everyone in bulky, huge armour. Just for a change of pace. No more leather/kinetic barrier combos. Just put Jack in a huge metal body suit and I'll be content.
Just imagine it, instead of flesh bags and abs deflecting bullets, giant walking tanks storming across the battlefield smashing anyone stupid enough to stand in their way. Heavy melee is confirmed, right?

Maybe biotic combatants are so good at maintaining barriers that it's like second nature to them. A "normal" biotic couldn't do that, but those biotics that are qualified to fight must receive special training that enables them to do that.
Jack herself can give Warp Ammo for all squadmates and mantain it for an entire mission, and Warp Ammo is said to take a lot of concentration (read the description to Squad Warp Ammo). Maintaing a barrier should be no problem for her.

BioWare will give Jack a sexy look for ME3, and all of her haters will suddenly start to like her, just like what happened to Ashley.
Calling it now.
That'd be total bullsh*t. If they go and turn her into a suicide girl or make her ridiculously busty with tantilizing cleavage, they'll ruin her. The whole point of her design was to be unconventional, which matched her character, doing the oppositte is unneceaasry. Appealing to the masses is what Miranda --and now-- Ashley is for, I think two is enough.

The whole notion of Warp Ammo is just silly. I don't care how powerful a biotic you are, there's no way you can wrap bajillions of teeny projectiles in their own personal ME fields. You couldn't perceive them well enough to even start, given the velocities and numbers involved. Extending it to multiple weapons just turns the silly up to eleven.

Came with the idea of making ammo a power in the first place I bet. After that the leap wasn't that hard.

I like to assume that a biotic infuses the gun itself with biotic energy, and as the bullet passes through the barrel it gains a mass effect field.

Although I wouldn't say no to giving her a proper suit when she's actually out in space (instead of just a breather mask)..

I don't like that either, but that's just how people are.
Just look at Miranda: she is not very pleasant. She is self-righteous, conceited and has some very wrong ideals. But she has a lot of fans because she is modeled after and voiced by Yvonne Strahovski, and because of her buxom figure.
Imagine if Miranda had that same personality, but was slender, bald and short like Jack. I doubt she'd have many fans.
The point is that, because they like how Miranda looks, her fans keep making up excuses to justify her attitude and actions. Jack haters don't like how she looks, so they don't even bother trying to understand her, and keep twisting her character in order to make her unlikeable.
Ash got the same treatment. In the first game, her xenophobia was barely noticeable, but because she wasn't super sexy, her haters act like she is the second coming of Hitler. Now that she has a new, sexy look? "Darn it! I wish I hadn't left her on Virmire!"/"I'm gonna replay ME1 and romance Ash this time!"

It appears that most of the cast of ME2 won't be in ME3. The Cerberus people are out and I don't understsnd why Thane and Grunt aren't in ME3.
Thane could be dead for all we know. Although if he is alive and kicking you'd think he'd be first in line to take out the Reapers with his combination of having nothing to loose, wanting to repent for his past, and to ensure the survival of his son. Grunt's still in the stasis pod in the cargo bay of my ship. My character wasen't crazy enough to open that **** up so I already know why grunt won't be in my game. Either that or mabey I'll be the only one that has him cause I can open the pod in ME3.
Also I'm sure Miranda will show up in ME3, although she may be more of a behind the scenes character than a full on companion. Jacob will probably get grandfathered through for a potential Kaden/Jacob conflict for the Femshepards to mirror the Ashley/Miranda conflict for the guys. I'm curious to see how a Kaden/Garrus love triangle would go most of all though...

I don't know how quick I'd call it attention to detail. It more or less was all characters wearing the same basic armor with changes made on them to fit various species. There wasn't nearly enough variation though, and most of the armor was just simply boring in ME1

I personally didn't care for Miranda, because her character was so pretentious and self righteous. Ashley was ok, but the xenophobia was a bit much since I took to Wrex and Garrus rather quickly. I honestly had no idea of the power that pixelated cleavage had over other guys. With that aside, don't change Jack to appeal to "dudes" that drool over re-runs of Chuck, I think that base has been covered a few times over.

She's got leather straps, a vynil top , and a leather shirt with a leather jacket. She's covered. If Samara, Mordin, miranda, Jacob, thane and Kasumi can survive with out it, then I'm sure she'll be fine with what she has. Also, no one touches the nipple straps. No one.
