Here's a suggestion. Retcon out that Femshep wears armor and give her a revealing Catsuit with open cleaveage.

Might as well make her wear a bikini while on the Normandy too. It makes no sense for her to wear a professional officer uniform while there's crewmembers in nipple straps and large V necks.

That would fit in perfectly with the new Ashley! Armor is for suckers and women aren't suckers thus they must go into battle dressed only in Catsuits. It makes sense, ME2 and ME3 told me so.

I agree with all the points here. My key point would be the more unique dialogue referencing the fact that you're a women... thought someone mentioned no more NPCs addressing Shepard as "sir", only as "ma'am". I think that's going a little too far, it would take a lot of extra dialogue recording and it's never bothered me since (as far as I know) it is sometimes military practice for any officer to be called "sir" regardless of gender. I don't need a reminder any time I talk to someone that I'm a woman, but seeing some more characters react differently to a different gender would to me make playing as both male and female Shepard more rewarding.

Larger breasts.

Better yet, make breast size a customization option so no one has any space to complain.

They could use her in the same sex marketing.  Game would probably sell even more.  :P

I have never played as a male shep because I so rarely get the option to play as a woman in a game as great as MAss effect is but one thing I noticed based on youtube videos is male shep got a lopt of tail in space and his romance options have sweet intimacy moments before the fade to black and I would like the same level of detail to be used for fem sheps intimate moments kiss a touch a smile a gesture more than a half a second of forehead touching especially since male shep gets so much more.

Good to hear Jaime  :)

Well it took two games but were getting there.  I hope this thread has provided some useful feedback to them

Additionally there is a poll on facebook for those who havent seen asking Who do you prefer to play as? femshep or maleshep.  http://www.facebook.com/masseffect

Of the 18,000+ votes cast so far over 34% of people said they preferred playing femshep.  Thats a large section of the community, so its nice to know more attention will be given to her this time round

Has David seen this thread? If not, maybe someone should tweet it to him.

I love femshep and maleshep (especially sheploo) equally, I wish they'd given us a voting option saying we liked both

Despite being directed to the OP, and acknowledging it, BioWare's marketing director is still beeping about female Shepard's hair color.

Thanks Fiery,  the more Bioware people who see it the better.  I hope they do entire meeting based around it!! B)

But yeah as for point two asking for screenshots and "recoginsing Biowares strategy" has been thrown right out the window it seems.  Glad to see they have finally realised there is a large portion of gamers who play femshep and its good they are finally addressing some key issues.

Agree. Especially with the hair. There are several different buns that femShep can wear, but they all look the same to me (even though I'm aware they're not). Shepard is a Spectre (in most cases), and even Captain Anderson acknowledges that she is no longer Alliance after ME2, so I don't think it's necessary for her to have a military haircut any longer.

I want longer hair. I'm sick of having to choose from bun, pony, short, or buzz. She may be a soldier but damnit, that shouldn't stop character customization. On the ship, at the very least, I should be able to let my hair down. Literally and figuratively.

Better character customization.
More hair options (and realistic textures).
Minimal clipping.
More options for outfits on Normandy.
More armor colors.

Immersion! Immersion is what needs improvement.

And love interest scenes if the romance night is the culmination of that story line she deserves the same care attention and detail given to the male shep

Building off of this excellent post, my one femshep request is please please PLEASE can she have at least some of the hairstyles that could only be obtained through modding in ME2.  It would be a welcome addition from a great deal of people - console players, people who aren't good at modding, etc.

But in regards to the animations.... I disagree! The last thing in the world I want is a Shepard who swings her hips when she walks DA 2 style! I got used to it for Hawke, but I would hate to see no-nonsense soldier Shep move like that. Wearing the dress around the Normandy causes obvious problems - but I see that as a natural consequence of the somewhat baffling choice to have Shep running around in evening wear on the Normandy. Change her casual clothing to actual casual clothing, and problem solved. I would hate to have her sitting all dainty like all the time just so that some people could make the incongruous choice to have her wear a dress and heels on her downtime.

In general, I dislike the idea that certain movements are inherently 'male' while others are 'female'. Shep's movements can be qualified as male or macho, but in the context, it suits her character. It's not about male or female, it's about her being tough, assertive, and straight-forward. I am ok with more gender neutral animations - I understand not everyone identifies with a more tomboyish Shep the way I do - but I am decidedly having separate animations for both, which I fear would inevitably lead to a more sexualized, 'girly' Shep.

In a similar vein, I actually like that there isn't too much differentiation between the way the two genders are treated during playthroughs. For one thing, it seems accurate - it's likely that aliens, for one, wouldn't differentiate much between male and female humans. And, it makes me think that in the future humanity has achieved actual, true gender equality - so much so that the fact Shepard is female is hardly even noteworthy. I love it.

But I agree wholeheartedly with the overall sentiment here - that more attention should be given to non-default male Shepard. If a random person on the internet can create a female version of the ME 2 launch trailer, surely BioWare could do the same? () I would be ecstatic if this were ever to happen. I'm not holding my breath, though.

This lovely poster summed up my thoughts perfectly! I actually liked the animations. They never bothered me.

My main concern, my absolutely most main concern, is The Jacob Issue. That just...I cringed. I yelled at my Shepard. It was mortifying. I turned my speakers off every time I wanted to talk to my friend. <_< Please give Hale, who does Shepard fantastic credit, better direction. Broshep never got "JOKER'S WAITING FOR YOU ON THE BRIDGE" in ME1, and he never got  "I just want to talk for a bit" in ME2. Please give Femshep a bit more love!

Opera's post I find draws on a few things that people dont want.   DA2 animations, we wont get them and we dont want them.   More importantly she states shes only played ME2 so only can judge the current animation style.    I think  our main concerns go across genders. Walking is quite frankly horrible:

http://www.youtube.c...OaxIpY#t=13m34s

Male Shepards have said similar.   So I think its something they will address.   In combat it doesnt matter as much as there is alot going on its not something you will notice too much.  But if animations become overly macho such as rolling, or climbing a ladder and your playing with a sleak adept then it becomes a bit of a problem.  So in this case a happy medium is needed.     But thats more out of concern of what could happen.

Additionally as said, many people remember femsheps style of movement in ME1 and so we were very disappointed when this was dropped and she shared exactly the same style as man shep with no difference.  I respect Opera saying she want things gender neutral. After all feshep does exactly what man shep does. However everyone knows theres differences, one being that women and men walk and posture differently.  Thus why animations look silly at times.

Anyway onto Romance scenes, yes they seem to have been a little shorter then what male Shepard got.  Im assuming this is another time invested in her issue.  ie, not a lot of attention was put into her for ME2. However hearing recent developments I hope this changes.

It would be nice to have the option to make a big and muscular FemShep but it is understandable if BW puts their effort in other things.
