No worries, Crash, you need to get your opinion out there, just as those of us who think otherwise have to as well. But, yeah, I reckon it's likely that fans who don't have a problem with something are probably less likely to say anything about it, since it's not a worry to them... until they become worried that the thing they liked could be changed because enough people started complaining about it.

As far as it being more than the Garrus scene - well... for you and the ones who agree with you, sure. I was talking about the scenes which *I* think are the only ones that look awkward for the female but not the male (dancing and sitting in the dress - at least when she would be wearing a dress). Excluding those, and any animations that looked odd for *both* sexes, I love Femshep's animations (I've played the game several times now so I don't think I've missed anything out).

As far as animations that I think look odd on *both* sexes, I think the out-of-armor gameplay animations for walking and running could be changed (I think Shep's limp should be gone by now and I think the running should reflect the lack of armor). Other than that, the only other male/female animation I didn't like was the lordosis posture that Jacob had when walking back and forth in conversations.

Other than that? Perfect as far as I'm concerned!

Please I hope to god you took this into consideration.. In ME 1 FemShep was my favorite type of shepard.. ME 2 something felt off about her...So i stuck with my default Male RPG character. FemShep in ME 1 was the first Female RPG character i played in ME 2 it felt....different. Not unique. Not interesting. Sorta like she was a souless walking husk with a female body :/ could never pin point exactly what it was but the OP makes some sense.

Agreed. I especially found the running-animations to be quite bad. Hopefully this will get fixed.

Why is this an issue? I don't recall being acknowledged on my MaleShep as being male, nor did I find it a lacking aspect of the games. It's a futuristic setting where gender (as far as I can tell) doesn't matter one bit, so I can't see why gender-talk would ever come up in conversation.

I hope they rather change too little than too much. After what we've seen with the new FemShep models, I'm afraid that the "improved animations" are going to mean "runs like DA2 women". Additionally, I see no need for specific gender acknowledgement. Like su66otnik pointed out, it's not relevant in the setting. Some of the races we encounter don't even have two genders, for Heaven's sake.

Patrick Weeks said somewhere that they will keep treating FemShep as a soldier who happens to be a woman, not as a woman who happens to be a soldier. I pray the graphics department will do the same.

I am playing through as a male shep romancing jack and I would like to add my opinion about femsheps romance scenes. Compared to what Male shep gets fem shep got the shaft on this one. No pun intended. Male shep gets detail, buildup, manhandling, passion, then he gets the fade to black.

Femshep gets an all toobrief headbump with garrus and a kiss that quickly fades out with thane. Imean when male shep puts his arms around Miranda that was all d'aaawww how sweet sooo romantic yay!

Please give femsheps romantic time equal cover.

I should point out that although no Devs have posted in the thread, I do know at least 4 of them have taken the time to look over it. Plus the Blog entry linked on the past few pages shows many perspectives were taken onboard.

Also a lot has changed since the OP was posted. My opinions changed on a couple of the factors and of course the femshep marketing has been flipped on its head. For all intents and purposes this thread has been quite a success and a wide selection of opinions have been shown. Some for, some against and some people who clearly never read the thread and jumped to odd conclusions.

Personally I found it interesting that while creating the OP with help from several other people I believed that all femshep fans wanted the same thing out of her in ME3. So I made the classic mistake of saying "the femshep community". Thing was by saying this it instantly got people to say "hold on a moment..." and really spur conversation. So in this case I found my mistake there was really beneficial.

Anyway so much has happened its not worth altering the OP so I left it as it is. Bioware have read the feedback by many people and having the OP as a base to work on, rather then constantly altering it has also aided her development.

Shepard is a Marine, Marines have a policy of Sir for all genders. I thought it was Bioware remembering that when people said sir in the game.
