besides Jackal's longbow.
I want to play an archer.
Anyway anytime i hit like anything i get the shiels symbol so i assume i need a diffrent type of damage.
I even added a spirit rune and that didn't help.

nope unfortunately, it would be cool if there a cold damage bow that froze enemies on critical hits,

I believe there is a non physical damage bow available for sale as well in act 3 but I do not remember offhand which vendor.  Check the wiki.

The Jackal's Longbow is the only truly elemental bow. Some, like Righteous Rain/Starkhaven Longbow, have elemental damage as a bonus, but the Jackal's is the only one that isn't physical damage in the entire game.

Um, if fire doesn't work use a physical one? That shield icon triggers virtually for anything you hit, because it checks all the additional abilities a weapon has, for example runes and elemental weapons, doesn't always mean you need to change weapon (unless you see you're doing no damage ofcourse).

there is nothing special about it. apart of Desdemona DLC item in act 1 there are no elemental weapons avaible till act 3.
Jackals 'is gr8 bow i been using it as DW rogoue on fire weak targets ^^.

You can do it yourself in less then ten seconds by modding your save with the GFF editor just need to add 10002 to the item properties & just copy & past another line into item properties powers.

Are just ask sunnie to make it for you

Makes me mad so many weapons that look cool only do physical damage which is practically useless.
