In http://nwn.bioware.c...port/patch.html you need to find and download the Hotfix or critical build/re-build for version 1.66 of HOTU, since the platinum version includes both expansions. Once you install that, try and run the updater again. If it gives you the same problem and won't let you update, you need to download the 1.69 critical re-build/build as an exe from the same official website. Installing that, would be all.
