Just the way skin looks. Elves are supposed to be devoid of facial hair, one of the difference from humans.

That's what I thought, but then I wondered if maybe Fenris was a special hairy elf... another of Danarius' experiments?

Fenris himself in the game says that he doesn't have a beard since elves don't grow beards in a banter with Varric.

Why does everyone knock on Fenris's pores? I love them, and I love that the texture is that detailed.

He has a bit of a shadow. Not what I'd call "stubble", though.

I agree. They make him look a little more weathered, and given what he's been through, it fits.

There was one elf with stubble in DAO...  

But I don't think Fenris is supposed to have stubble.  I love his skin as well.  It just works for him.

I think he has "stubble" like I, as a woman, have "stubble". As in, possibly really thin soft hair on his face, and if you squint you can see it - but certainly not in a "masculine" way.

Elves are hairless and beautiful. lol Fenris just needs a bit of moisturizer for his face, is all.

I've nothing against Fenris' pores. I was just wondering if it was hair or rough skin

Interesting. Never noticed that, because I use the lore friendly face overhaul for all the characters.

Why has he facial hair? That's like dividing through zero.

Eh, a dev confirmed a while back that Fenris doesn't have stubble.
