Of course, one can say that we only *thought* Ashley was telling the truth, and that we only *thought* she knew how it happened.

After reading what's on the wiki, I don't get why Saren hates humans. Before we thought it was because his brother was killed in the first contact, but that didn't happen. So why does he hate humans, and thinks they need to know their place? Because a human husk made his crazy brother (who he was already fighting against) a husk?
And he does hate humans. He expresses it in the book, and he even says "Humanity needs to know it's place" and "What do you expect from a human."
That was Drew, now it´s Walters.
Yeah, but he says those two things in ME1.

Overall, it wasn't that good, but I thought it was much better then Redemption at least. It had a decent story, but it definitely left a lot of things open. I think I might have gone too deep into the entire ME lore that all the "unanswered" questions the comic left are actually already answered for me from other books or the wiki that I browse through on random occasions when I'm bored at work. I think the main point of Evolution was to show you who he was before hand, what role he played in humanity's expansion to the stars, and why he came to the decision in the first place to start Cerberus. Truthfully, though, if they actually want to do a ME comic, they need to do an official series with some real length to it. This four-issue crap is only going to give you a snapshot at best.
I already feel like they extended it a bit too much just to make 4 comics. Issue 2 is pointless, because despite TIM having glowing eyes, they let him go. And then TIM goes to illium just to get caught... again.

[...] itwas only in comic one when he was xenophobic, and in a war with a new species you never met and not understand everyone is xenophoic because they are the eneimy. By the comic 2, he starts to come around as he starts understanding and by 4 he's looking past the other species to the demons in the darkness.
Read Retribiution then. He's quite xenophobic there. Along with his right had who is alphaxenophobic.

Saren hates humans because he had to bomb his idiot brother?
And tim got rich by exploiting rich racist pricks?
The comic was, uh... kind of George Lucassy.
So, where do you guys think that earth's monolith is? Dome of rock? Mecca? Pyramids? Atlantis?

Yep. I guess it is too difficult for Bioware to get the stories straight. You would think it would not be that difficult since there are only 4 games, 4 books, and 4 comics. I am not very impressed when the average fan can quickly detect major differences in the stories while people paid to work on it cannot.

Even though I know its flaws, I enjoyed the read, but I wanted it in a book, because there the writer has more free space. A comic book is too short IMO.

No, it's a fact. Not only does it look exactly like one, the ME1 Artbook says it is: "A geth arm was grafted onto his left side."

Yes, I read retribution......And calling Omega scum is an easy guess by anyone. That doesn't mean him xenophobic, just observent. The only xenophobic one in the book was Kai Leng.Mr.Kusy wrote...

Art books are not lore, just conspets and planning. Unless the game, books or any story medium says it, it's a sepeculation.didymos1120 wrote...

Thought the evolution series was lame. To me the story telling in the games is great, why!!!! cant they get it right in the comics. It lowers the overall high standard of Mass Effect.
One major problem is that they only do 4-issue mini-series. For something trying to cover as much ground as Evolution, that's just not sufficient.
