I played as a male Cousland that seized the throne and I let Alistair live.
He was unhardened and so by all means he had to be in the epilogue as a wandering drunk.
I really focused during the dialogues and asked Anora after I let Loghain live to do the same with Alistair and he quitted.
On the wiki I found an issue that could explain it:
(Bug: All Platforms) If Anora is queen and you opted to take Morrigan up
on her dark promise, requesting from the queen that the Grey Wardens
not be forgotten causes her to speak of Alistair as if he were dead, yet[in my safe he's not standing there, but I spared his life, nontheless Anora behaves as he is dead].
he is standing near you on the dais
^Evidence^
I took that boon. Mainly because I knew that I get a title and everything else in Awakening anyway.
EDIT: I have to add that the Drunken Alistair Option has not shown in my epilogue. I made an import in DA II to look in the import options, but I don't know what must be written there.
EDIT2: Okay I thinked I messed it up here a little, since their are no answers due to my confusing typing..
Does this mean to me, I have to kill the Archdemon again to make Alistair's cameo happen in Dragon Age 2?
